You will feel if you were at home, the room is nice and very clean. Aladin is a great person, and all the people at the hotel all also very nice, muhammad gives you wonderfull information and abdu makes the best coffe. They will help you with everything you need. You will enjoy in this hotel a lot. Don't missed it!!!!! We recomended this place!!. This hotel in the centre was near from the musem and then Nile, very nice and safety area. and the room was clean and comfortable. Th staff was fantastic, same a family to me and they help me alot, and they made to me a nice trips around egypt and it was very nice, in the end everything was just perfect.

The hotel is situated in the centre, which makes it convenient for city excursions on foot and makes it easy to return to the hotel to relax during the day - something that can be quite useful. It had a place attached to it where I could sit, watch tv and smoke shisha. Location great. 5th floor, 26 Kassar El-Nile (aka Qassr El-Nile,Qasser El Nil,etc)- in the middle of downtown shopping zone for clothes, shoes etc. Rooms are clean. Buying tours OK. Negotiote price OK. We got a driver with good English who said he is not a guide, but commented on the sites on the way which was helpful. Just outside there's a coffee shop and a 'burger' shop where many locals drop in. The value for money and the location were the positive points, but Iwould not stay there again. Good view of the hole, nice personel. hotel interior is good .Price). * Good location * Reasonably clean for a budget hotel in Cairo, if I ignore the small blood stain on my pillow!. The bed is good. the location was fine in downtown Cairo. some staffmembers were OK. Nothing, every thing was perfect. everything was excellent. Hotel is on the sixth floor and the very old elevator was not working properly. Some better directions to find the hotel would save some time given that it is located in a small side street. Maybe the stairs, but they did have a lift.One thing I might say is if you book a camel ride adventure through them it's a little over priced. But other then that great hotel for the money and clean....the taxi driver had problems to find the hotel (happened at 4:00 in the morning). Finding the hotel for the first time was a challenge, and overbooking at the hotel caused an inconvenience.The expensive travelling package. Broken elevator, and the hotel on the fifth floor! A leaky tap in ourroom that could not get fixed. A frighteningly run-down and dirtyentrance stairwell.cars on street were noisy, but it the hotel is downtown. Room door could be pushed open when locked, Lift looked like it was out of a 1940s movie, I usually climbed the 135 steps. One disappointment: the first night, there was no room for me, although I had made a reservation in advance through booking.com and sent an e-mail about my late arrival (middle of the night) several days before. Also, there was a misunderstanding about the kind of room I had booked/was being offered. just maybe often some of the guy's that work there get too close and noisy......... Asking too many questions, but that is normal I guess.1) Check if there are any windows in your room. 2) About buying tours: Insist on the places and options you really want to visit. Say no to any Carpet or Perfume Institutes unless you are interested in buying stuff. Elevator only reached 4th floor - hostel is on 5th floor. Elevator callbutton and elevator controls were not working at all for the downwardjourney. So all descents (some 100 steps - I didn't count exactly) wereon foot. Showers were in small wc cubicles, floors were treacherous whenwet. Hostel bar is soft drinks only - no beer (although they offered togo out and buy). Light in rooms was poor. Scary when you climb up to fifth floor. Quite dirty around staircase. Showers together with WC. It means no toilet paper all the time. Realy complitacated showering. Simple sugestion to make two showers only and two toilets. Nothing special it is on fifth floor and when we arrived elevator was not working . They dont have TV in the room and neither a small fridge. * Didn't honour our booking for a private bathroom. Overheard at least 3 other guests complaining about the same thing. * Lobby always smoky - can be smelt in nearby rooms * Don't go on the camel/horse tour of the pyramids - it is massively overpriced, your guide won't be able to speak English and thinks the pyramids are 7000 years old (which is all he can tell you about them) - truly terrible. I mistakenly choose the hotel. Its pathetic. No buffet breakfast was served as written on website. No attached washrooms as well.The bathrooms are not clean, there wasnt toilet paper in any of the bathrooms, my room had a terrible smelling of mold. the facilities promised were less than promised, quite poor, no airco, no shower in the room, no TV, a lot of streetnoise, dirty entrance and poor escape possibilities in case of fire (5th floor) . no windows in rooms. for getting 4 traintickets to Luxor they charged us 120 us dollars extra(afterwards). we could not buy because it was supposed to be full. they knew how to get them they said.The staffs were pushy, they wouldn't help us at all because we didn'twant their 10 day-tour package. The room description was false. Webooked a double room with private bathroom, but they only gave us onewithout bathroom or even windows. They tried to charge us the same, anddidn't allow us to quit the second night. We did't get any breakfast aspromised either.
