View is superb, the reception staff and most of the restaurant + pool staff are simply great, food was amazing (El Gezira restaurant), very fast and attentive. Golf car was always available to move the elder around, very good and polite drivers. Breakfast was simply awsome, the herrings were a very good idea yummy. Pool bar was amazing, the staff there are more than polite, my wife spilled some of her drink on the ground and they insisted on topping it full back to her, beer is cold and dresh.
all reviews » I liked the blend of relaxation and excitement at the same time, we enjoyed every minute there. Staff are very professional and so helpful. Hotel is very clean in every spot. Food was delicious, fresh and has a lot of varieties. Entertainment was available over the weekend (Marwa & Ahmed) they were great and gave us enjoyment with foreign and Arabic songs. Definitely we wish we could go back again at the earliest chance with the whole family. Well , i stayed in this hotel for four days , overall its nice , clean hotel, the stuff are really nice and helpful . Swimming pool is really lovely and megafun team are entertaining and your kids will spend a good time with them . I do recomend this hotel for you specialy if you have kids . All the staff specially at the reception ( Mahmoud,Amr, Ahmed ) and the housekeeping I want to thank all of them to help me for preparing my husband`s birthday. Also I want to make a very special thanks to the chief he is really more than wonderful for his well-done food and also his variety. Although my visit was during one of the highest seasons, I really enjoyed the stay, food and quality of service. Would definitely repeat it again in the future. very nice place , peaceful & good weather. staff was so polite & can control the whole hotel with serving visitors during high season. The hotel location is one of the best locations in Sokhna, you can enjoy sitting by the pool while enjoying the beach at the same time. Pool was excellent with a direct view on the sea. Pool was too cold and not heated, some of the staff were rude with my family members just because they want to clean the area in which they are sitting, this went up to making noise to drive them out of the area. Pest control needs to be more efficient especially on hot mornings both in the restaurant and in the rooms, there is a lot of gradening and vegitation there and it needs care in order not to be infested. No atm facility, you have to go out for an atm machine. I have to say that the hotel is a littel bit far from the pool and the beach , the food is ok , not great . I did not like the beach at all it contains alot of rocks , no way you will be able to enjoy it . They do not offer many options to do on the sea like jetsky or something . i went during high season, so it was so expensive. If you plan a birthday or something they are not professional at all ,Elgezira ala carte restaurant is horrible at dinner don't give it a try,there were a plenty of rocks on the beach but you can handle it carefully without injury. - internet was very expensive -there was ant in the room. Nothing. I was annoyed that bottled water cost 18LE - the same as Cans of Coke. They cost 2LE in the shop outside. I think a mark up of double or even triple is OK for water, but it is hardly a luxury item in the desert. Dinner buffet needs more care but it's fine. cold swiming pool -stones while playing volley ball causes injury -poor band at night. Absence of a heated swimming pool. The noise in the dining room (no sound absorbtion) but outside was much better. This is a very average Hotel The rooms are very old in design I can't say it's a bad Hotel but it's very very average. Value for money, room was not cleaned properly, beds were brocken and fixed by nails, bed sheets were very old. For such room rate we expect a standard of service which was missing in this resort in some aspects like cleanliness and room facilities. very bad odor in the room. No regulation for the swimng clothes, all people go to swimming pool with HEGAB clothes., which make us so uncomfortable at all. Food quality and variety are very poor, they serioydly Need to hire a better cheff. Air condition in the room is freezing no matter how you turn up the temperature, we had to turn it off eventually. Baby crib was broken we had to ask for another one. The pool doesn't have heating system so the water was freezing. Staff weren't not friendly nor professional. Room wasn't a 5 star hotel room, it was more like a 3 star room. No mini- refrigerator. Bathroom and bed weren't comfortable nor clean. 5 star price for a 3 star hotel. Rooms tatty and dirty. Food average.
