  This little hotel is beside the Velling forest the last of Denmarks Old forests and everything is protected, some trees are over 300 years old. When you hear the storey of the hotels importance in 20th century Danish/European art you realise that this place is a hidden Danish gem.   The whole facility is well-designed. The shower is in a separate room from the toilet. A door separates these two rooms from the room with beds. This makes the sleeping area quiet and keeps light out of the bedroom if someone gets up at night. Windows have shades that can be pulled up or down to block light efficiently.
