What people say

Location - just few minutes from castle. Location hotel, was in citycentre and near very nice Castle. Recpetion had good communication skills, German and Englisch.Breakfast was disaster. We came at 10:15 and there was nothing - no clean table, no plates, no food. We were not alone that time so after claim they started to clean and serve again. Explanation - new waiter. Due to renovation of the restaurant we had our breakfast in the hotel next door. They had a conference, so was a bit messy. But therefor the hotel had a good price during our stay.

The town of Hluboká nad Vltavou is famous for its beautiful castle built in Tudor style, which is nicely lit at night. Its interiors are equipped with beautiful historic furniture, unique carved wooden pieces, many pictures, precious Gobelin tapestries and collections of glass and porcelain. The castle is surrounded by a large English-style park featuring rare trees. Various vantage points in the park provide a nice view of České Budějovice, the Novohradské Mountains and the Šumava Mountains.
