The rooms were very nice and comfortable. Our son joined us and they accommodated all of us with no problem. The air conditioning in the room was an added bonus and was very welcome, especially because of the hot weather during our stay. The newly remodeled bath and fully equipped kitchen areas were very nice and excellent for a longer stay. The area was close to the main part of the city and was an easy walk from the Diocletian Palace and Riva. The staff was very helpful in helping to arra.
all reviews » The location is perfect for city tour. It is not inside the old town but I guess it is an advantage of the apartments than disadvantage. Split is very touristic place with magnificent palace and old part of the city. In my opinion, it is better to stay somewhere outside the crowdy center. A personal is very friendly and helpful. A room is disigned in a very cool manner. A bed was very comfy and actually double, because in a lot of places the owner can offer two single beds places together. I co. Dalmation Villas is in a really great location, within a few minutes walk of the old town. The staff were really welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. I loved the little courtyard too - it was lovely sitting out there in the mornings to plan our day and coming home at the end of the day and relaxing with a glass of wine or a beer!. Excellent location (we were in one of the apartments, a stone's throw from the Gold gate to the city). Also, great that they arranged it that we were in a ground floor apartment (given we'd asked for a baby cot and hence were coming with a pram). The room, though not huge, was perfectly adequate. Overall, I was hugely impressed. We're a bit worried when we arrived as the outside doesn't look great! However when inside the rooms offered everything you need and a very large bathroom in the room we had. The staff were really friendly and helpful giving tips for where to eat etc. Don't let it's looks put you off!. It was in a great spot just out from the centre of Split and the walled old city. Easy instructions to walk from the ferry and balcony was lovely and peaceful to sit at in the evenings although was a little bit away from my apartment. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was no staff available until after 12 noon which was an inconvenience for us as we arrived from 7 days on a boat and were anxious to unpack and relax. My apartment didn't have wifi but a short walk to the main office and balcony which had wifi so not really a problem. - wifi was not working. Grrrr! - dark apartment - the loft bed (single bed at top of unit) was uncomfortable. Someone had switched the Wireless lan cable. So, if your wi-fi doesn't work, check the lan cable. Dish washer was good but a liitle noisy. If you want to sleep well, operate it right after using dishes. Above the 2nd floor, there is a bed over ladder. There was some dust, and it was VERY narrow. But if your group is small than 6, you don't have to use that narrow place. it already has 2 double, and 1 single bed. the only problem is with hot water.Geezers run out of hot water if you are in few in numbers to take bath in contnious.but if you take time, it will be fine. Not knowing address until we arrived at airport. Our first night in the back building was tiny and noisy. The staff moved us to a much brighter and quieter room. Poor quality of furniture. Bedding a little dirty. The room wasn't quite a clean as we'd have expected and they seemed to have had a small termite issue (probably resolved by now). Small room but ok for a couple of nights. too noisy. Tv was not working, beds are not very comfort, old furniture, it needs a better maintenance.
