We used our stay for day trips to fortified hill towns (E.G. Motovun, Hum and Draguc) and to go to Plitvice Lakes. We started each day after a very nice breakfast that featured local produce, meats and cheeses, and WONDERFUL coffee. Daniela graciously received us each day on our return and we were able to dine at the restaurant on truly wonderfully prepared meals and excellent wines. It would be worth stopping by for a meal even if you are staying elsewhere. While it is in the midst of a neigh.
