The family-run guesthouse features well-appointed and spacious apartments with free internet access and all necessities for an individual stay. On the way up to the Makarana there are diverse small grocery shops where you can sample fresh local food. After a long and active day you can unwind in one of the many restaurants and taverns in the vicinity, tasting delicious authentic Dalmatian food and wines. If you visit Mount Biokovo you will experience the spectacular panoramic view of the Dalmatian islands of Brač, Hvar, Pelješac, Korčula and Lastovo. The owner can pick you up from the bus station upon arrival.

Villa Makarana Apartments were very nice for the price.They welcomed us with ice cold lemonade on a very hot day and also we found on the table a local drink, i think višnja, very good cold.Free Wi-fi. Some 200 m downhill from the city center, about 300m from the beach.The owners of these apartments were so friendly and helpful it really made our stay very enjoyable. They collected us from the gas station at the entrance of the city.
