Only 250 metres from the beach, Apartments Mare is located on the western part of Makarska and just 20 minutes’ walk from the city centre. All apartments have a well equipped kitchen. There is a dining area in each of the apartments. All are fitted with free Wi-Fi and satellite TV. Most also have a balcony and a barbecue. Guided visits to Split, Dubrovnik and Krka National Park are available upon request. Mare Apartments can also arrange boat tours and rafting trips.

We were 4 last year and spent 5 days in Makarska and these apartments. We enjoyed so much that we returned for a full week this year. We even convinced 8 other people, friends and family, to come with us. The result was the same, complete satisfaction for all of us. The apartments are beautiful, spacious, clean, with much light, warm and built with attention for details, with all that you need for a seaside vacation. all reviews » We stayed in 3 bedroom apartment which was fully equipped with a large balcony. Apartment was extremely clean and close to local supermarket and sea. The owners hospitality was excellent. What a pleasant surprise to be welcomed with local drink and food. Josip was extremely friendly and informative.Nothing was too much trouble. We are looking forward to our next stay in this excellent apartment complex. It has our highest recommendation. The apartment was extremely clean and well kitted out. The owners were very friendly, welcoming, informative and passionate about Makarska and Croatia in general. We had a long chat about the town and the area in general while enjoying our complimentary welcome sugared almonds, figs and home brewed cherry brandy. It's a short walk to the sea front and very good value for money, I'd highly recommend a stay here while in Makarska. + Apartments owner is very very helpful. He has a good english skills and greet us with figs from his own garden. It was very nice. + The place is situated just about 200-300m from the beach + There is only about 10km to Biokovo nature Park. You can go there by bicycle and climb up to Sveti Jure + Room was clean with comfortable large bed + Good value for money. People there are really kind, we arrived late and they cared about us, they even gave us some fruit and fresh water because we arrived late! Also, apartment is perfect, little kitchen, room and bathroom... Amazing choice, we would come back and recommend it no doubt. Very nice and helpful owner, comfortable, spacy apartment, properly equipped kitchen and bathroom, working tv and wifi. Excellent value for money!. Josip was great! He helped us find things to do and even took us to the bus stop free of charge! Apartment was clean and well-furnished. very nice staff!!! In the first meeting they told us about the best restaurants, beaches ... Very friendly staff. Josip is super helpful and speaks perfect english!. great and friendly owner, very spacious appartment, modern equipment. We would not have returned three times more people if there was something that bothered us enough to mention it. There is no perfect place for a vacation, you make it ideal by embracing it. Everything was perfect. Noises from the street disturbed our baby in the evening even with windows closed, it was not unbearable though. not too much daylight in the appartment.
