Extremely friendly and helpful staff. The owner, Milan Prica, even waited for us to show up until midnight even though the check-in is advertised as closing at 21:00. Rooms very clean with everything we needed and extremely good value. Breakfast was v good, prepared by the hosts with local products. Beautiful, quiet location and great views. Perfect base for visiting the Plitvice Lakes (allow at least one full day for this).

There is no things to do in Korenica, but house prica is perfect to sleep and the nexte day visit Plivitce lakes. You can have breakfast (as you want- omelette, ham, chease, juices, coffe, products handmade...) for 5 euros. Thanks. We stayed with Milan Prica and his family for a week during July. The room was nice, clean and spacious, but more importantly, the hospitality was great - they are friendly, helpful and generous. Breakfast is great, and be sure to check the home brewed slibovitch. He gave us some home made spirits, and gave us information about the national park and recommended us a nice restaurant in the neighbourhood. The breakfast in the morning was really nice also. The host speaks English and is very accommodating. This place very clean and exceeds many American standards we see in hotels today. We were arrived at Plitvice Lakes National Park entrance 1, we called the staff and he picked us up, and charge us a really fair price - 35 kuna (20 mins drive). It is crowded because there are no many more places in Korenica more than its quality. nothing (c;. there was no AC in the room and the room was a bit small and basic. Not very convenient for visiting to Plitvice Lakes, but still ok as there are buses to the entrances. Be aware buses are between 8:35 to 10:35, no buses between 11:00 to 14:30. Buses are not punctual!. As a welcome, being asked for passports as soon as the exit of the car, at 11pm in the night. The room design. minimum-size room minimum-size bathroom.
