We were warmly welcomed by the family. They made coffee and tea with lots of biscuits and chocolats in the morning and evening. The house is located in a very quiet place. A little river, with BBQ places that we could use, crosses the garden. They also have a large vegatable garden. The room is comfortable and very clean. I very good place to relax after a visit in the National Park. We had only a one night stay, but I can wholeheartedly recommend this place. Kate, the host of the house is charming and very hospitable. The room was also nice with spacious bathroom and well working WiFi. It's a great place to stay, maybe even for longer than only to visit the famous Plitvickie lakes.
all reviews » The host was very friendly and helpful with everything we needed. She greeted us with cookies and a traditional beverage. The room was clean and bathroom as well. There was a river crossing in front of the house which was also very nice. We loved it there... The host was super friendly, we have got hot drinks and cookies, as the hotel in the mountains the room was worm and comfortable, the matress perfect. Korenica is just few kilometres from this place where is bigger supermarket, perkna and etc. The accommodation was basic as expect, it had a few nice trimmings and was immaculate, the hoist was excellent and supplied free coffee and biscuits each day, the setting and location was excellent, great value for money, would use again. Good quality-cost relationship. Is a good option if you want to visit Plitvice Lakes and you have a car. The hostess was really friendly, she bring us a (free) hot coffee after a cold and raining in Plitvice Lakes sightseeing. a lot of green zones, mountains, fresh air, very nice people, clean room, you can feel the perfect atmosphere; and close to Plitvicke Jezera which is a number one to visit in Croatia! :). Katrina was the best host we could have hoped for at Plitvice Lakes. Really comfortable house with a good location for visiting the National Park as long as you have a car. Host was very friendly and thoughtful! The room is of extremely good value; near the entrance of the lakes and comfortable enough for a night's stay. Everything was absolutely fantastic...Kate, her family and dogs are very nice and friendly...i would highly recommend...we had a great time... No tea or coffee making facilities. Room extremely basic, but comfortable and had good heating. It is located some 15km from the Plitivice lakes so about 20 minutes drive is necesary.
