Really great apartment in the heart of Dubrovnik old town. Spotless, good bathroom, really comfortable bed. We had the top room which had a great view over the old town, and, although in the heart of the town, was really quiet at night. The owner communicated with us via email in advance of our arrival, and picked us up from the airport at short notice, this was helpful as he dropped us at the north gate therefore avoiding the stairs!. all reviews »
It is located right in old town, in close proximity to a lot of attractions. The city wall is 5 mins away and so were the cable cars. The rooms were newly furnished so it felt clean and modern. Both staff were very friendly and were very willing to accomodate to our needs. Excellent hotel and great value for its price!.
Lady of the house fantastic, location excellent if you don't mind a few steps but there is another option to get to the accommodation without taking steps up. Bed super comfortable and excellent shower.
The apartment is located within the old city walls, so a good central location.... though you do have to walk up many steps from the city center.
Great location, very clean room and facilities. The owners were very welcoming.
Perfect place to stay while visiting the old town!.
Modern design. Quiet street away from the main high street but close enough to walk within a few minutes. Bathroom lovely.
The view from our windows over the town was amazing
The owner was very sweet and welcoming.
Room was small as are most European rooms but modern and recently
remodeled.
The apartment host was unbelievably hospitable!!.
Room was very clean, great view, comfortable.
The bathroom was amazing, very clean.
Lovely location, room and staff.
Lovely view and clean.
Location and staff.
in the Old Town.
Excellent.
Excellent.
Location was the best - close to all the top tourist sights.
As other reviews have mentioned, there are a number of steps up to the apartment from the main street (150-200) we managed fine, bit out of breath! Difficult with luggage.
Unfortunately there were a lot of stairs if you went through the pile gate, where the airport bus dropped tourists off. However, if you go around the city and enter the old town using the gate where they sell cable car tickets (10-15 mins walk with a luggage from the pile stop) It would be much easier to get to the hotel. If you don't know Autun (the manager) will meet you at the doorsteps and take you (and your luggage) there!.
Smell which emanated from the bathroom think it was coming back up through sink of shower pipe.. Have had this problem before in some holiday destinations.
Small room, windows small, and no toilitries provided.
There is no reception and we had arrived early, so it took a little while to find the hotel staff but don't let that stop you from booking!.
The lady who met us was very nice but she had a horrible body odur that hung around in the hall way, which wasnt pleasent. No other negatives.
Not evident in the booking is that inside the old town there were many
steps up the steep street to the room.
Stairs of the small alley street are a killer but at the same time a good work-out.
Nothing.
The climb to the apartment is certainly a workout particularly with luggage.
160 steps from the Main Street.
Nothing.....would stay here again and hope to!.
Not possible to be dropped off with luggage - many steep steps that were difficult to drag suitcases over.
Also - the information was misleading. The "view over the old city" was actually a view of the opposite side of an narrow alleyway.
