This is most definitely a first class 5 star hotel from the moment of pickup from airport. The hotel is a designers dream no detail too small for them. Open spaces yet a feeling of intimacy. Fabulous room with small balcony and big view. Great location with private boat ride to walled city several time a day (mini van provided if weather does not permit boat). 5 Star restaurant, bit pricey but worth every penny. Plenty of good food places in town too. Indoor outdoor swimming pool, outdoor lunch.

Simply adored the courtesy vaporetta that shuttles between the hotel and the old harbour in Dubrovnik every hour. dear booking com all nearly perfect EXEPT the breakfast , not good coffe, absulut not good bred, croissant was never good cocked , breakfast absolut not in stiel as the hotel itself. hope very much this can be changed to good thanks. Incredible staff, great location just a 15 min. walk (or 5 min. limo boat ride) from the Old Town of Dubrovnik. Modern rooms, everything you could need in terms of facilities and amenities. Beautiful location, built into the cliffs, just 20 minutes walk from Dubrovnik old town; all rooms had views of the sea and Lokrum island as well as Dubrovnik. The hotel has a wonderful location overlooking the Mediterranean with Dubrovnik in close proximity. the welcome,style and design,views from the room,gourmet food and evening waiting staff excellent. We liked it all. The staff were excellent and it was a beautifull place to stay. Friendly staff, fantastic views, food and drink, steamer boat to old harbour. Location. Room. This is beyond the control of all the hotels in the area but worth a mention so as there are no surprises, the Cruise ships dock in the area and can been seen in the mornings when they arrive until around 4 pm when they leave. The smaller liners are not really an issue but the large ones do impact the view from time to time. Hard to find anything not to like. We did not actually eat in the hotel as we either walked the 15 mins into the old town or took the vaporetta, but another guest said the food in the hotel was mediocre and expensive. Heresay only, and we could not vouch for it. Nothing. Sometimes all of the chairs on the Mediterranean were fully occupied. Lack of attentive staff at lunchtime. There was nothing to dislike. nothing. Snooty reception and bar staff. Really made us feel unwelcome. (After paying $500.00 for the privilege, and having just spent ten days driving supercars through Europe and staying in Relais and Chateau properties throughout.) Restaurant food varied between excellent and ordinary and all expensive. Greta views, great room, Advertised rooms with hot -tubs. Get in early, there are about three! Tens of thousands of tourists all over the old city, unlike the rest of Croatia. Need fixed showers in the bathroom. I could not use the shower off the tap as I am over 6ft. WiFi service and pillows. shower in bath - never a good idea and in this case the shower was no good. It was the only bad point. WiFi coverage was troublesome in our room. Laundry charges!!! No late check out. Lack of access to the sea especially when it is windy and it causes the sea to be wavy. Expensive food in comparison to other places in Dubrovnik. Lack of choice for vegetarians. Shower not great.
