Staff were extremely helpful in providing information and facilitation of my stays. Considering the overpriced accommodations everywhere in Dubrovnik, I would say the hotel is pretty reasonable. It's clean and located in a very nice quarter of Dubrovnik, not in old town, but in Lapad where you find good restaurants, beaches, and cleanly organised pedestrian pathes along the coast.Position was perfect. They responded very quickly to our query about air conditioning in the room and got service man when leak from airconditioning unit. Also the Manager of hotel bought my partner at drink from the bar which was not really needed but was really nice. Easy access to beach and bus stop.The friendlyness of the staff and small courtosies offered by theowner.EG Have you tried the local brandy? No. Then have one with me andsee if you like it as domestic is a lot cheaper than imported. The Staff were extremely helpful and accomodating. They made us feel very welcome and that nothing was too much trouble.The breakfast provided was extremely good and we both enjoyed it very much.The breakfasts were very good. This busy location is a great alternative to the Dubrovnik city centre because of ease of transport to there and the port area if you are taking the ferry. The breakfast not very good. The rooms were small but liveable with.In the brochure it shows ajacussi bath but we looked at 4 rooms and all only had showers.We felt that although the staff were helpful when asked, the room had not been dusted or hoovered and the towels were not changed nor the bathroom cleaned or the toilet paper checked whilst we were there. The tv reception was poor.We were on the top floor in a quiet room (with a view) and had a large separate bathroom but none of it was cleaned during our 3-day stay, except for a rushed making of the bed. The shower curtain was filthy and needs replacing. Our first room was too small and dark.OK for one night but unacceptable for more. The staff were more than willing to change it.The carpets were not hoovered very well and looked rather dirty,the shower head attachment could not be angled properly and had to be held. breakfast was always chaotic (constantly out of food, bowls, etc.); not suitable for someone with disabilities as there is no lift.cleanliness. Breakfast was terrible. buffet breakfast was terrible. poor selection. fruit not fresh. "hot" food usually cold. far too expensive at around 120 a night in my opinion. some times no hot water. for a shower.too much dust in the room. The hotel rooms could be a lot cleaner. We had to switch rooms because the carpet was so dusty.Poor cleanliness of room, dusty surfaces which were not cleaned throughout our four night stay. Had to ask for bed sheets to be changed. Breakfast time is chaos always running out of things.
