First of all, the hostess Mrs Stane is the friendliest and most hospitable; when we arrived at the apartment we were greeted with cool drinks :) She kindly helped and gave aid in all matters what we wanted to know (opening hours of the nearest pharmacy or time-schedule of Mljet-ferries). The location is perfect, close to the sandy beach and within comfortable walking distance from Old City. Our rental car got parking space next to the main road for every day. As everyone said, the owner is wonderful and helpful in every way possible. Excellent place for not a lot of money. The kitchen was well equipped allowing the option of cooking various meals, definitely good for those on a budget. The outdoor seating area was nice. The Old Town (Stari Grad) is about 25 minutes' walking distance, or you can take bus #4 which brings you to the city center in a few minutes (the price for a single journey ticket is around 2 EUR). We had a room not an apartment and we noticed you can hear some noise through the adjoining wall. It didn't bother us but light sleepers may want to consider ear plugs. Nothing really. It was a little difficult to find, it is not on a street but a side alley up some stairs, there is a sign, but it is easy to miss. The walk to town, while fine for us, about 20mins might not suit some.
