  Hotel was located in the heart of the San Jose. The facilities were excellent and the rooms were very spacious and clean. I highly recommend keeping an eye out for deals and wait for the king size room with spa. We got a great price on booking and had an earlier stay in San Jose and wish we could have stayed several days because it was so comfortable and clean. Easily able to walk to a supermarket and restaurant and shops nearby. They also have a shuttle to the airport. - It is an airport hotel. Staff were... what people say » helpful and friendly. The employees went out of there way to accommodate our needs. They gave us directions and if they did not know they would find out. We extended our stay and are coming back to hotel before we fly out. Breakfast was outstanding too.

  Even though this is a place with just the "basics" it really has everything you need. It's not a romantic hotel or lodge but the room was nice with a view of the city and mountains. Breakfast was included with our room and there is also a really nice cafe about 2 doors down. It's a 3-5 minute walk to a park and the pedestrian walkway; the location... what people say » is great. It was pretty quiet for being downtown. They also have a lot of information on different parts of Costa Rica, I wish we had stayed there th - Clean, spacious room, comfortable bed I was especially appreciative of the fact that I wi-fi was available in my room. I stayed elsewhere at the suggestion of another on my return home and was frustrated at my inability to communicate by Skype due to poor connectibility.

  San Jose is not an attractive city nor does it have an historic centre. When we visited we chose to stay in the centre and regretted it. When we left we looked near the airport and stumbled onto the Terraz des Golf. Staying there like staying with your family. After just an overnight stay Christina the owner said goodbye as though to a favourite n... what people say » ephew. She arranged our trip to the airport at an early hour with breakfast beforehand. The hotel is delightfully located overlooking the golf course - Great place to stay. This is a family owned motel, and you are treated just like a member of the family who are visiting. Cecilia the owner was fabulous and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. She even drove us back to the airport in the morning, after arranging for us to have our rental car picked up at her place. Could not do enough for you. I will always make this my "home away from home" when back to San Jose
