We liked absolutely everything. Vina was very positive and helpful to us, E.G. she did a check-in at 3am and late check-out at 8pm. The bungalow was very big and very nice decorated. Very cozy and comfortable. Had also kitchen with complementary juice and milk :) Free kayaks and snorkelling gear. Very nice and quite location. It was peaceful, the staff were very nice, Muri beach/village is a nice part of the island to be on as the beach is nice and there are a number of activities based here as well as cafes and resturants and a general store. Milk,juice, bottled water and fresh fruit were provided on arrival.
all reviews » The simplicity and Polynesian authentic feel of the unit made me feel truly in the Cook Islands and not at some generic resort that could be anywhere. Decoration with traditional, tasteful tivaevae fabrics, the friendly staff and Vina's genuine personality. the grounds were very beautiful and the design/aesthetic of the bungelows were fantastic, it's close to resturants and shops etc. making it very easy to wander up the road to eat etc. Vina as a host was more than amazing -freindly and helpful. The accom was first rate and Vina takes wonderful care of you and all your needs. Don't forget your sunscreen and I can highly recommend Unit 1 right on the beach. Super romantic and the perfect getaway to paradise :). Beautifully decorated bungalow, with straight on view of the lagoon. Extremely convenient, quiet and comfortable. Easy walking distance to all of Muri and beyond with lots of nearby restaurants and activities. The host Vina was wonderful and couldn't do any more to make our stay unforgetable!!! She was very friendly and full of knowleadge. Couldn't recommend her more!!! Thanks heap Vina. The proximity close to the beautiful beach and cafes also water tours all walking distance. Cleaning service needs improvement, E.G. change of towels, cleaning bathroom. the beach itself is not as nice as other parts of the island, and not so good for snorkelling. the beach bungelow we were in wasn't particularly private, as anyone in the pool could look right into our room. The walls were a bit thin so it could be a bit noisy when people -kids etc were in the pool. Nothing. I liked everything. No air-con, though ceiling fans worked quite well. Sand-flies - wear repellent. Nothing!. having to leave at the end of my stay!. I didn't have a hair dryer but that was no problem as I just asked the manager and she dropped one off. Absolutely nothing. rosters at 4am, worse than a alarm clock. (not the resorts roosters).
