We stayed one night in Eco Star Hotel on a 5 week roundtrip through Colombia and can recommend the hotel if you are looking for a budget accomodation in Ibague. First, though, a caveat: If you are a first time visitor to Colombia please keep in mind that as a general rule hotels there tend to be ridiciously overprized with regard to the services and comfort they offer. Rooms far too small.
Small rooms.
Staff could not satifactorily explain to us why this is an "Eco" (as in ecology) hotel, leaving us with the impression that this is a marketing guise.
