It's a quaint traditional style chinese hostel with very friendly staff who took us in at short notice, gave us delicious food and beer, and water for the following day. Very welcoming, characterful & accommodating. I've stayed in hostels around the world and I would say this is a clean one! Fresh white linen and a warm duvet. It's location to the Great wall is 10 min walk and 1 min walk to the train station (you can see it from the platform).
