  We specifically booked a room with a street view in this hotel after reading reviews about the Bell Tower and the traffic that moves around it, and we were so pleased that we did. It is beautiful and fascinating to watch the traffic and people moving about especially at night. Buffet breakfast had a nice varie - The ideal location to the bell and drum towers, easy access to airport shuttle, English speaking staff, an unexpected treasure is Xi'an wish we had stayed longer..a city full of life and culture. Would recommend the visit not just to see the Terracotta Warriors this place offers more than that. Very enjoyable stay.

  the staff and the comfort. it was by far the nicest hotel i stayed at since in China. the location is good too - close to the Islamic quater and the Bell and Drum tower. I would recommend it to anyone who cares about comfort and is ready to pay a little extra for comfy beds, fast internet and great room service.   Our whole experience was a positive one. From booking the hotel, to confirming a pickup at the airport, being met by 'John' when we arrived, offered some tourist advice and getting a comfortable and functional room, we had no complaints. It's is a really good value for money option for budget travellers and it's location is excellent, being in the... what people say » centre of the old city, within walking distance of all the key attractions in the old city. They also help us out with a driver for the next day trip - The location was great! I found the manager, John, to be one of the nicest and honest people I have met in all my world travels. He really was interested in making us comfortable. No English but they will call John for you to communicate. A side note Chinese hotel are rated differently - 3 stars are often 1 star hotels - I rate this a 2.5 stars. Lots to do in Xian around this hotel - we had a great view from the hotel.
