  nice and cosy room (earthly wood design just like resort style) with separate seating area, chinese tea set and 3 types of chinese local (good quality) tea leaves provided with natural water from famous spring (tea leaves and spring water free of charge), free welcome cocktail at bar, free hand treatment, good accessibility as there's a bus stop j... what people say » ust right outside the hotel, cosy library with free coffee and cookies, overall a very relaxing stay in this cosy boutique hotel, will definitely stay - The rooms are spacious, very clean and extremely well finished and decorated. This extended into every detail through the whole hotel, from lobby to hallways and rooms to a level you don't see very often in China, specially not in this price class. Bed was of superb quality. Break fast was nice with a good choice between Chinese and Western food. Also the food from room service was affordable and very tasty. Best thing was the spa, never had such a good massage anywhere in China.

Sam in the Concierge team can speak English and was most helpful, even before our arrival in Hangzhou, by answering all our email queries about tours from Hangzhou to Huangshan (Yellow mountain). Staff is very pleasent. Western options in the jw marriot menu, nice swimming pool. Dont have this weird smell that you feel sometimes due to chinese cuisine. Nice executive room and good options for western breakfast in the 16 floor. Internet in room.
