  Banpinzi feels like a French country inn. In off-peak traffic, from West Lake it's a brief bus ride to your stop, then a five-minute walk down a forested road. The staff is young and friendly, the rooms may be cramped, but there's art on the walls and you hear chickens in the mornings. My room felt like a painting by Bonnard. The food is tasty and... what people say » reasonably priced, though the breakfast is Western, not Chinese. Good plumbing, wi-fi, electricity, air-con. - The staff were excellent - very helpful and welcoming, as well as speaking a small amount of English. Quiet location.

  The staff is just great, helpful, friendly, smiling and generous. I remember I was sunbathing, looking at the beautiful bamboo forest, when someone working at Howoo came to me and offered me a delicious cup of coffee, though I had asked for nothing. The view is just great, from the room and from the dining room! The hostel is very nice with wooden... what people say » walls, beds, tables, and very clean (bedsheets, toilets, shower...). There is a soccer table game and pool table, nice sofas to read books, a bar, an - Close to nature, excellent design, comfortable room, friendly staff and funny Captain Wang. Breakfast and dinner also quite good,I really enjoy the relax stay at Howoolife.

  Rooms are clean, spacious, well designed. Beds are comfortable. The hotel has just been renovated, it has a country feel with wooden floors. Great location for West Lake. 10 minute walk. - The location was great - 10 min walk or 3 min bike ride away from the west lake. The service was good too and the hotel owners were really nice.

  My best Chinese hostel experience ever. The staff was excellent and very helpful. Even though the location is not in the center it is easily accessible by bus. We had a beautiful view from our causy room. I loved the colours of the hostel. Our bathroom lights were broken but they had it fixed in no time which is amazing in China. Excellent value f... what people say » or money!!!! We are definately staying here next time! - The location is good. About 10 min bike to the West Lake and there is a free public bike station nearby(in the parking lot of the Zoo). The price is cheap.
