  I just loved the whole time while staying at Oakwood. They try there best to cater for western cultures. There staff were just so helpful. The cost of drinks in the hotel bar were a little expensive but that's what you expect in an outstanding hotel. I have travelled the world and this hotel rates as a great hotel. If you are going to travel to Guangzhou stay - Easy and cheap (19RMB) travelling by cab from Guangzhou East Railway Station - especially if arriving or leaving at night. Large variety of places to eat outside hotel. Short bus ride to Canton Fair. Washing facilities(need instructions for use in English though). English was well spoken by front end staff. Comfortable beds!!

  Staff of the hotel not only provide great service as their duty, but they put effort with the heart and intelligence. Especially people from open kitchen restaurant. What I remember most of all - I had some low speed internet problems and complained about that. In 2 minutes (!!)   The rooms are great, with everything you need. The bed is very comfortable and the room is quiet that you can enjoy your night sleep. The location is perfect, the service is amazing, the cleanness is spotless, the staff are friendly, and the price is good. The breakfast is amazing especially if want Western style breakfast.   This is a luxurious, comfortable hotel in which to stay. Staff are friendly, courteous, efficient and very helpful. The hotel is within central Guangzhou, close to two beautiful parks and close enough to sights of interest. The hotel is large and has numerous shops within it's precinct, has wonderful amenities including a swimming pool, sauna, st... what people say » eam room etc. The rooms are large, well-equipped, tastefully decorated. Highly recommended! - The staff were very good and very wellcoming , locatin is near to menu shopping centres. I do recommend it for others and will stay again in the same .
