  Friendly staff who all tried so hard to accommodate my needs. Had trouble printing out my online flight check-in and the manager was most patient and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Easy access to the Bund and heart of modern pulsing Shanghai. Hotel was right in the middle of two extremes, which made my experience so more enjoyable. Great value for money and I will definit - this is an excellent hotel, with great service. check-in was easy. the rooms have just enouth luxury to make you feel you're in a high-class hotel, it had a nice view of city. and the rates are very affordable. breakfast was nice, it had both western and chinese food. the location is very good because it is within a walking distance from the bund river. i would definitely stay at the riverview hotel again.

  I was looking for a hotel with historical character, reasonable prices and a convenient location. Marvel provided all of these. The building certainly has a special historical charm, but the rooms are functionally modern. To my pleasure, there was very little traffic noise, despite being on a very busy street. (My room was on the side, with no vie... what people say » w - probably front rooms looking onto the park are noisier). The metro line 8 station is a few steps away from the hotel entrance. Although not the mo - The room was large and luxuriously furnished. Spacious bathroom which was well stocked with all the essential toiletries and restocked daily. Very comfortable bed. Well located within 15 mts walking distance to Nanjing pedestian mall. Also many reasonably priced cafes and restaurants nearby (turn left as you come out of hotel), banks nearby (Citibank next door). Staff were very attentive and friendly (reception staff speak good English) and very efficient (arranging taxi to airport, dealing wit
