There is a good local network cafe Wagas near the hotel where there is western food and good coffee for China. Check in and check - The hotel is one of the better one in shanghai for the money. Staff try very hard to make your stay enjoyable. While English is poor from some of the staff we managed to work out what I wanted. I had the bellboys get cabs for me in the pouring rain and did it with a smile. There are two restaurants in the building that are both very good quality but I would have to say the element fresh was very good value for money and the food was fantastic. Great hotel and would stay there again.

  The hotel is very well located downtown, at a walking distance of many attractions. Rooms are clean and confortable. Staff is professional and efficient.Our room was supposed to be located at a lower floor but we asked for a quiet room and we have been upgraded to the 7th floor. We could leave the luggage at the reception the next day until the evening when we had our flight. We definitely recommend it! - The location of this hotel is amazing. It's not far from East Nanjing Road metro station. There is exchange machine in the lobby. The staff speak English and they are very friendly. They looked after our bags between 8am when we arrived in town till a 2pm check in.
