very modern, new, right on main highway and handy to where we needed to go. Vending machine and microwaves available for a snack. Staff paid attention to details on our reservation- very friendly staff. Easy to find, friendly staff, very quick check in and out, nice rooms, everything you need , good value for your money. Would go there again, close to airport and you pay less through letsbookhotel.com!.
all reviews » Easy access from hotel to anywhere in the city, clean, comfortable , especially liked the kitchenette for our 10 day stay, non smoking and pet friendly. Bathroom was very nicely set up. Everything was very clean, but should be for a newer hotel. Loved the table and banquet seating. This was the second time we stayed at Motel 6 Headingley. We will go to Winnipeg regularly and will be staying again. Rooms were an excellent size. Beds were comfortable. Amenities were good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Everything was absolutely wonderful, the staff were very friendly, the property is clean. Clean, modern, economical, quiet, allowed me to use computer to print boarding pass. very reasonally priced . The rooms are basic and very clean. Very easy to get to. Simple clean room at a good rate beds were good and all we needed for our stay. Awesome that there is no carpet. Very comfortable beds and nicely set up rooms. Super clean, nice pool/spa, pet-friendly, the rooms were nice and modern. That is available for late arrival customers. I like how the rooms are decorated. Clean room. A toaster and bread etc so one could make toast to have with the free morning coffee. Also need some little paper plates on which to micro the frozen muffins, and tray plus potholders to make micro waving the food items safer. No coffee maker, but Denny's is the neighbour!! For a nice meal with coffee. No problem at all. Two nights during our 10 day stay we got little sleep, several rooms on our floor had some very noisy guests who ran in the hallway, yelled, banged on doors etc., made several calls to front desk, these guests should have been kicked out after the first night. After 2 noisy nights we went to the desk to request a refund for the balance of our stay and were advised the others had left. This was OK and we remained to enjoy the balance of our stay. No coffee maker in the room; air conditioner kept cycling through various speeds rather than a constant on or off, making it very difficult to sleep. Not completely clean floors. Saw stains on the laminate that would have easily been cleaned with a damp mop. the beds were very hard. Did not get a good nights sleep at all. no place to utilize a compter other than in the office, no restaurant close by,. There was not a contienal breakfast. Free coffee was available only for a very short time in the morning. Including breakfast would have been the only thing that would have made it better. -Extra charge for 2nd person (advertised price is for 1 person only) - Spartan: no coffee maker, etc. We noticed a sign beside the hotel announcing a restaurant was going to be built there. That is great as there isn't any close now. Nothing. Could offer a continental breakfast. pool 2 or 3 degees too cold. kind of spoils your expections,and is a bit uncomfortable. (spend all that expence on pool & upkeep and to cold for guests to be comfortable. no breakfast,( did not know that when we booked..group booking for a family wedding ) room was not made up ( we stayed 2 nites ) and did not receive extra coffee, etc, but we were given extra towels. Not very sound proof. We could hear lots of noise from other rooms and the hallway. super basic. Tv chanel choices were very poor. No restaurant Highway noise. The entrance to the hotel was not marked very well. we stay here all the time and this was the first time the staff was rude and the room was dirty!. A bit 'simple'. No microwave in room. Beds uncomfortable, pillows flat. No area to hang clothing and jackets. When I got there my room wasn't clean yet, got put in a different room which someone else was already in. I requested a bath tub but the room I eventually got didn't have one and the beds and blankets were all full of hair.
