We were upgraded to the multi-use camping sites after noticing that the walk in sites were covered in snow (as we went camping at the end of March). We appreciated the offer, especially after driving in from Vancouver with all of our camping gear. The site was clean and spacious! We also appreciated having our personal water and electricity hook up! The short trail leading to Whistler village was amazing! WiFi was an added bonus! all reviews » The Riverside resort was a great last minute experience that I'm happy to have had. It was a phenomenal price for all the space we were given in the cottages and the staff was very upbeat and helpful. Cab rides to the village were only about $10, and the Junction cafe that's on the lot had wonderful food and lattes. I would definitely go here again!. We stayed in a Yurt which was very warm, clean, comfortable and had enough beds for my family of 5. Beds already made on arrival and plenty of towels. Washrooms were clean and the showers were free. Walking distance to Whistler village even for my 6 year old. WiFi was free and we had no problems with it. Everything - staff were very friendly and helpful, the cabins were beautiful...we've stayed in 10-12 different hotels during our holiday in Canada and this is probably our favourite - woud definite stay here again if in Whistler, and finally the location and walks were great. The portable heating was quite hot, it heated the entire Yurt. The wi-fi was sometimes slow but most time it worked well. The staff were kind and friendly. By car it is just (or less) 5min from the main Village. yurt was fun to stay in, Riverside Junction had some great breakfasts, Staff dealt promptly with rowdy campers late at night and brought us linens when required. Everything was great and good value for money as we had 30% off through letsbookhotel.com. Plenty to do, or the choice to relax and do nothing. Staff were really friendly and were more than happy to answer and questions with a smile. The cabin was so cute, we didn't want to leave!. We stayed in the 1 bedroom cabin and loved it. Cafe food was delicious. The yurts also looked cool (had some friends staying there). Being able to walk in the Forrest just at the door, very quiet and away from city lights. We had a really good time. We would definitely come back for other vacation stay. The cabin itself was great, and the front desk staff were nice and friendly. restaurant attached friendly laid back good for young children 2-12. Excellent accommodation, very friendly staff and well situated. The cabin was really cute and provided everything we needed. After talking on the phone with a representative from Riverside before arriving, I would have expected someone to let us know how much snow was still covering the sites we booked (even though we were informed that it was written in the fine print online). The water in the sink to wash dishes was turned off. The firewood was way too expensive! $9 for a small bundle. Crazy! From years of camping experience, wood is typically $5-6. Late night revellers in the Yurt next to ours. Wifi reception not that good, but very minor issue and didn't detract from our love of the place. The bathrooms were a bit far from the Yurts, and during the night it was a little hassle to go out the Yurt in the cold (if you have to do some business there). Friends staying in the attic (kids or extra adult portion of the room) found the room too hot at night and couldn't sleep. It would have been helpful to have some way of cooling off the top room (or at least being able to open the window). There were cob webs all over the ceiling therefore did not even go in the loft part of the cabin. I wish there was a table and chairs on the deck. The guy in the café was not very friendly. mosquitoes catered bbq expensive for food supplied. The Wifi wasn't really good. We would often lose the signal. Nothing! All good. nothing specific. It seems take forever to heat up the cabin, Wifi is suck. Pricey. Needs better reading lights in the living room. The mattress was a bit poor. Far from bathroom. nothing much really... maybe some road signs on the way to the cabin will help us find our way, especially in the dark. and maybe to change the bedsheets that seem to be very out of style... when i first looked at the pictures with that beautiful bedsheets on, i was a bit concerned and hesitated but that was silly :). The website mentions a sauna and a hot tub...well it's $58 to access the spa! The receptionist told us it was $35 but when we got there they told us that it is always $58. Bathroom not clean at all. Waited 40 minutes for a shuttle bus past its scheduled time that didn't end up showing up. The showers were a bit dirty. Was double booked in yurt? Had to change outside lightbulb at yurt#1! Wifi was borderline? Didn't like giant power lines! Speed bumps needed repainting! Shower pipes very 'noisy' in washroom!. Cabin were hot and not well ventalated. The noise coming from partying teens at the front loan till midnight. Staff at front desk that dealt with us did not know what she was doing, and gave us a bill for one amount and later changed my vis a amount without my knowledge and overcharged for our stay. May never come back due to dishonesty.

Please be aware that check in is between 16:00 – 19:00 Sunday to Thursday, and 16:00 - 21:00 Friday and Saturday. Please note the property does not offer after hours check-ins. Guests must be at least 25 years old and provide valid identification and credit card upon check in Guests are required to pay two nights as a deposit at the time of booking. Should guests cancel more than 14 days prior to arrival, only a CAD $20 administration fee will be charged. Within 14 days of arrival, the full amount will be charged and the deposit will be forfeit in the case of a cancellation.
