One of the best, if not the best budget hotels in Montreal. Location is in the hipster part of town and the staff was friendly and relaxed. The room was clean, modern and comfortable. Having a communal kitchen was very practical and there was free tea and coffee in the room. Towels and soap were provided. The room comes with free passes to the shows taking place next door/downstairs. A great experience!.

We didn't have a problem with noise, and we went to the live music one night that they give you a free pass to and it was really good. The food at the cafe downstairs was also very good, even though it is vegetarian. The place is great. Location is awesome. The bed was confortable. Room temperature was perfect. Coffee was good. This place is perfect for low budget travels. cool area. chilled atmosphere. very spacious and clean. saw the real Montreal. amenities close by. locals friendly. public transport easy. great location, friendly staff, nice to have kitchen access, good food at restaurant downstairs. The room was clean. The noise from the bar downstairs was not a problem, as promised. I was grateful to have coffee in my room, and enjoyed the urban surroundings. Overall, good value for the money. Can be a bit noisy. kitchen could have done with a few more utensils ! noise from bar downstairs in back rooms. travel light as the stairs are narrow and winding. I had my elderly father with me. He was uncomfortable, at first, with the urban surroundings and struggled with the two flights of stairs. Additionally, parking is on the street, which I found stressful; watch out for the no parking signs. Very very noisy. There is a bar and club downstairs which goes on til 3am every night. No double blazing and beds are not that comfortable. You will not get a good night's sleep if you are a lite sleeper. I did not like the fact that it only had one washroom and the staff as nice as they were, but hard to find not enough information on how to get a hold of anyone. No place to hang clothes while showering. No presence of staff. Perhaps too many steps on stairs. Not suitable for families. Very old, and dirty, good only for travelers that do not care about where to sleep. Far away from the center of Montreal. The party noise till early morn. There is no parking and poor security.
