I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and quiet the hotel was (excellent staff) given it was co-located with a casino. I was on the street side, had the window open all night and it was quieter than my place in sleepy Victoria!. Very comfortable room, and very reasonable price for hotel room when you compare to the current rates for hotels in Vancouver. I loved the pet friendly atmosphere, the cold breakfast and close proximity of the casino and shopping.
all reviews » Room was ready for early check in. Clean and comfortable beds. Casino attached and Starbucks on site. The location is great for just walking in the downtown area. The bed was Awesome! The night auditor who was working at the Langley Coast on November 2, 2013 was very friendly and very helpful. She made our trip enjoyable, even though our tv didn't work properly and the light in our bathroom burned out and because there was no maintenance staff, my boyfriend had to change it himself. Rooms/beds were comfortable, spacious and well laid out. Pricey drinks in the casino. not a thing. Needs another chair in the room. Prefer European style in bedding....sheet under and over the comforter. Didn't make any money at the Casino. We would have stayed another night had they had a shuttle bus. the fact they stated breakfast included and did not say it was continental was false advertising in my opinion. Because its a casino, there can be alot of noise. There were peope fighting across from our room, resulted in alot of security guards and police!. The downhill move of room emities(paper coffee cups) buffet is really depreciated over the past year or two. Selection. serving presentation. quality of the food. Spa listed as part of the facilities and they aren'T. Don't set any time aside for customers of the hotel. The receptionist for the spa was rude. The food. We ate dinner and lunch in the restaurant and at dinner our chicken strips and nachos were both way over cooked and at breakfast, everything on our plates was cold - not luke warm but cold. The butter on the toast was not the slightest bit melted. When we told the waitress she seemed angry at us and took our plates and never came back so we left without breakfast. The drunken neighbors on our floor that disturbed us for many hours during the middle of the night.
