Manager and housekeeper were very friendly , efficient and accommodating,making sure we had everything they could provide for an enjoyable stay. The utter peace and quiet of the lake in October. Proximity of wildlife to watch and enjoy. Safe, easy walks. Friendly local people and interesting village, all facilities nearby, including laundromat. The warm micro-climate. Cheap bus service to Duncan and both shores of lake.. $4.00 daily pass. Comfortable bed. Garden felt like home, with all needed.
