My husband and I have stayed in almost every hotel in Grande Prairie and this is the best one we have found! The staff was great!! The room was huge and very nice!! Very up to date and a great place to stay! Will certainly stay there again!!. We enjoyed our stay. We were there for 3 nights and would recommend it to anyone travelling to/through Grande Praire. The beds were comfortable, rooms are spacious and were clean. We got a good deal through letsbookhotel.com.
all reviews » I LOVED that the housekeeping staff actually paid attention to my sign and did not disturb me AT ALL when the sign was up (any other hotel I ever stayed at the housekeeping staff still knocked even with the sign up). It was a comfortable place to stay for the time we were there. I have family in Grande Prairie, and it made for a good stay while we were there for the long weekend. Staff was awsome, rooms are very nice and very clean. Services at the hotel are great especially for business or family. Highly recommend!!. Location to shopping & restaurants. Room had a suite so with a 2 year old having the kitchen area was a great bonus. The staff were super awesome. There was a mistake in booking possibly my fault and they upgraded my room for free. Very impressed! Clean, great breakfast, perfect location near to all amenities. Clean, spacious rooms with all the facilities you could want in a hotel. This stay I got a nice king suite, everything was just fine. The room as clean and the bed was very comfortabe. Everything I need in one place. comfort, cleanliness, location. Lady at front desk was super!. Everything very satisfied. Arrangement of the suite. Great staff, great stay. All was good, great. Everything. The hot tub for my sore back, the girls enjoyed the slide. Location. location and comfortable beds. Location. Room very spacious. Some of that space could have been used to create a decent sized bathroom. Even with the amount of young children it was relatively quiet. location. They could use an additional waffle iron as I had to wait in line for 10-15 minutes to use it. Also the coffee is quite weak/watery. (There is Starbucks a few minutes down the road). Not really within your control, but 2 out of the 3 nights I stayed, the fire alarm went off at 5am resulting in us having to stand outside in -25 weather in the far corner of the lot with no warmth. I understand the first night was probably random but the second night was a little too much. As a result, I barely slept the third night. Made for a rough few days in training all day after interrupted sleep for 2 of those nights. :(. Nothing really. Indoor pool was not heated & too cold for a two year old to swim in. The hot tub was extremely hot that the adults did not even use it. Rooms were very dry. Nothing to do with the hotel but Grande Prairie is possibly the least pedestrian friendly place I have ever been. The pillows were 3x bigger than they needed to be! The pillows were very uncomfortable!. One elevator for a large hotel. The previous stay I was given a double queen suite, the stove did not work and the fridge was a bar fridge so it was unsuitable for my needs. Hot breakfast not worth it. One of the front staff was a bit rude. nothing. Long walk to my room. Very Nice TV`s.... and we like to check the news at night but it was very confusing to figure out, needed to call the front for assistance,. The heater in the room wasn't, working great. The hot tub was out of service until further notice, no options were available. The staff for breakfast were to social together and the second morning not friendly and seemed 'put out' when told there was no yogurt, no 2% milk, and hard boiled eggs. Things I needed. staff were absolutely rude, very unhelpful and unpleasant staff. ( front desk and breakfast room ) They were very arrogant and no appreciation of customer service....managers did not even respond to customer complaints...couldn't be bothered....no wonder staff are allowed to be so rude. Room smelled like animals? Dogs Maintenance required ..security lock broken I will probably try this location again but if I encounter yhe above mentioned items I will not return agAin. Dogs and there poop. Room was not made up, no fresh towels had to pick up towels @ 9:30 at night. Staff said it had dnd no such. Sat breakfast sausages were cold, ran out of eggs. Sunday breakfast great, regular lady was on she knows what she's doing Bathroom in room too small. Had to back up past toilet to open door. very dirty carpets in halls.
