I got bitten by bed bugs after sleeping there for 2 nights. I have pictures to prove it. The staff was very nice they let me change room right away and the sales manager came to speak to me but I still left the next day. I dont think its the hotels fault. Most people that stay tthere are workers . Not a luxury hotel.

I got a good rate and an upgrade to an executive room, which made my stay special. Close to West Edmonton Mall. Good bathroom design. Lots of space. Two comfortable easy chairs, plus the desk chair. Effective air conditioning, as well as a window that can be opened. Grainfields restaurant.

Lots of traffic on major streets -- entry and exit to hotel sometimes difficult. Service road has a dead end.

The hotel was very clean, staff pleasant. Suggest that a notice be places at the front desk advising that the restaurant si closed at 9 Pm.

The air conditioner was so noisy that we had to turn it off to get some sleep

The shower door opened the wrong way to utilize the towel hook on the wall. It would be useful to have the commode and shower in a separate area from the sinks.

Clean rooms, bathroom very clean, it was quite, friendly front staff We stayed at other hotels nearby , for years, should have stayed here. Enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Hair on my sheets when I checked in and stain on my daughters sheets otherwise nice room and quiet and hotel was happy to accommodate.

The service at reception was exceptional. The room was nicer than expected and very clean, good quality mattresses and bedding.

The lobby needs a lot of updating. We visited on a weekend and had to hold our breath while getting past a huge amount of smokers crowding the entry doors. This is probably not the hotels fault, but there must be a solution to that.

The restaurant was quite reasonable priced and had a good variety of quality meals. Even my picky kids liked the food, and the restaurant staff were very polite and friendly.

The west stairwells were in need of a good cleaning, there was an entire piece of bacon on one of the steps for the entire two days I was there.

Had a new room, which was very nice! Had a very nice girl named Ivy Tesoro working the check in for us. Extremely quiet room also!

We have chosen this hotel many times, but this was definitely the most we have paid! I think it was high and next trip we will look around for a better rate.

The service

The location. It is close to the mall. There are many restaurants around. It is easy to navigate from there into town and out of town.

The staff is very stiff, every thing you ask has to go through the manager. They don't know much about the facilities around the hotel and are not able to recommend restaurants etc.

Beds and different kinds of pillows was nice.

Do not like their policy of $100 upfront deposit when checking in for possible smoking damage!! Nobody check my room afterwards to check for damages so why the deposit! Poor taste! Fridge was on the floor and unplugged---couldn't use it!

My other half locked himself out of the room and the front desk clerk would not make him a new key to return to the room. I had to cut short my visit with a friend in order to drive across the city and let him back in. We had been there nearly a full week by that time.

That the stay was short.

We found the beds uncomfortable and the rooms were very warm even with the air on. We also did not have any face clothes in our room we called to the desk and the fellow said he was working alone and could not bring us any. We were already in our night clothes and were not getting dressed again to go to the desk to get them.

Not the hotel's fault, I expect it is the same for all Edmonton hotels - but there were a number of additional charges and taxes on top of the advertised hotel price - including a tourism levy that I wasn't expecting.

Amazing bathtubs in the room - they were huge.

The elevator door took a very long time to close. With a baby that became a problem trying to move all of our things to the room & vehicle. Also, there were no luggage carts - which turned what could have been one trip up to the room into three.
