The ambience and facilities in the room such as a fridge, cups, wine glasses, microwave. The view was beautiful and the bed was comfortable with soft linens. Not very spacious but a cozy feel and the sofa and coffee table made it feel like home. We appreciated being greeted immediately upon our arrival and how friendly the staff were. The room was spacious and fancy. We liked the little details of the night time chocolates and bath robe on the bed. The restaurant was fabulous as well.
all reviews » We loved the 2 bedroom suite with full kitchen. We also loved the fact that there was so much to do. I have already recommended The Westin at Blue Mountain to 3 people who are seriously looking at this destination for their next vacation. I liked how they took our "anniversary" night away and made it special by incorporating a card and chocolates. It was a haven to be away for a night. We will return often. Gentleman who came to turn on our fireplace was exceptional. He noticed the noisy neighbours and got us a new room. He went way out of his way to see we were satisfied. We LOVED EVERYTHING!!! From the friendly staff, to the gorgeous view from our balcony to our comfortable and beautiful room - we truly enjoyed EVERYTHING!!!!. coffee in the room fire place rain shower outdoor Jacuzzi excellent restaurant $5 rebate daily if you don't have your sheets changed. - close to amenities - quick support and response to requests - knowledgeable staff (i.e. asking for locations) - accomodating. Loved the hot tube and heated pool, also went ziplining and up the mountain. Beautiful area. the room was very luxurious; the staff was so incredibly helpful and friendly. I signed up for the preferred guest card and got upgraded, a later check out, and complimentary parking. the views are gorgeous and its just within walking distance of the Village. O&B restaurant inside the hotel was awesome. The tv channel wasn't available all the time. At first, after a phone call and special request for a room with a good view to mark the occasion of our 35th anniversary were were given a room with a view of a muddy parking lot. After complaining the matter was quickly rectified. Front counter was not welcoming. Attached room full of young partiers and smoking in room which came in our room. We were moved but not compensated. Room service breakfast was more costly than dining room for same meals. New room had only one house coat and we asked the maid for another one and she forgot. There was nothing we did not like - the only thing we could suggest, is to reduce the price!. the outdoor pool was too cold to swim in (lukewarm, it was supposed to be a hot pool) movies on demand are overpriced. ThehHotel facilities and the Staff were good. However, this Westin is pet friendly, was really uncomfortable and annoying seen huge dogs walking around everywhere, we didn't know about the pets. The food in Oliver & Bonacini restaurant wasn't that good either, the menu is poor and bland food. We tried the sirloin and the shrimp pasta, disappointed again, so is better to go to the village for a better and tasty meal. Noisy in the hallway at night. Keyless card entry to room failed for no apparent reason resulting in a couple of trips to the front desk to have the card reprogrammed. Wish they had rooms with 2 double/queen beds. The price and the dark and seemingly endless hallway on the room floors. We were confirmed for a King 1 bedroom but were given a queen, same price, very disappointing. Construction directly above us woke us up two mornings in a row at 7:30am. Pull out sofa, needed duvet or comforter for the kids. Scratchy blanket was provided. Mystery surrounding plunge, should be discounted when staying here and brochure included in room package. Main reason we took kids here. Age 6 ,7,8. speed of internet, also internet should be included in the price. large property- the pool seemed far away. The fridge was froze up needed to be defrosted did keep things very cold. Freezer was full of frost. The valet and assistance with baggage was limited to non-existent would be nice to have slight discount for multi-day lift pass expensive overall. This resort is overpriced and poor value for the money. Intrawest charges extra for parking and all activities are far too expensive. Price/value for money, not all things working in room,. Liked everything.
