Love the wood finishings makes the place very classy. The staff is amazing!!!!!!!! Love the restaurant, not sure why people choose to eat on the street, the cleaniness of the restaurant and value was impressive. Maybe add to your spa manicure and pedicure to drive more business that way. I noticed there are no services anywhere for this and just the same massages all over. Just something different that you would have, and women travelling look for. I am in Marketing so I look for these things. .
all reviews » Great service, very helpful and kind staff. Very good breakfast, it was also possible to take away a breakfast box when we got up before 5 o'clock to see the dawn on Angkor. Very convenient location, just steps away from old market, pub street etc., but very quite at the same time, on the other side of the river. Good massage service (we tried the 90' Khmer traditional), at affordable price. The hotel is really value for money, good buffet breakfast, relaxing pools, excellent staff, near, walking distance to the old market, helpful tour desk officer. Maybe add more staff in the spa to accommodate more clients tired from the Angkor Wat tour, add some classical, instrumental music in the spa for a more relaxing mood during the massage. The staff was very nice. The breakfast is very good too, there are both sweet and salt meals. the swimming pool after a walk at the temples is really nice and the the service of the pool bar is perfect. Only inconvenient: it get crowded very quickly, as they are only a few places. We loved staying in this hotel. Four star standard for a very reasonable price. Warm welcome with a welcome drink. Careful wil the water- if you take the cold one in the fridge they invoice it, if you take the other one, out of the fridge they don't... One comment only- The floor in the hall should be washed up more frequently- it is quite dirty- which leades to a bad first impression. Bathing water temperature fluctuates a lot!!! Wifi is not stable. Shower is bad, at least in my room (215). Not enough place to lay down near the pool. They don't offer pick up service at the airport, you must ask after you book it. Even though I had not used it, the hotel refused to give a free taxi to come back (not a big deal, it is quite cheap, but would be a nice service). Pool areas a bit small. I had a corner room in old section. It was fine but views were only of rooftops of surrounding buildings. This is a personal beef,but the music in the rooftop bar after 6pm was all techno stuff. It got very tiresome after a while and the people I saw there were of a different era than the music. Nothing. The air conditioning is really loud, but is did not bother us that much. The air-conditioning is very noisy at night. There are too many mosquitos if you turn off the air-con. Hot water in the bathroom is not very stable. Beds were a bit firm. Restaurant is cheap ( everything is 3 USD) but in the city the variety of choice is more appealing. Air con was a bit on the loud side, slept fine though. Needed to get change of a hundred dollar bill to pay a tuk tuk driver and the reception staff didn't have it, had to go back into town and change it there. Small pool area. Beds were pretty hard. The hotel confirmed shuttle from REP airport-hotel but forgot about the promise. had to ask somebody to call hotel for that and we were made to wait for 1 hour before driver showed up. And he was driving a RHD van in a left hand drive road. Perilous! also, the mosquitoes in the hallway and the noise. There are two pools, but not enough space or lounges for all who want to enjoy them. The checkout procedure was a nightmare; it took over 1/2 hour and after that they wanted to check the room before we could leave. We had asked for a double bed room, but when we arrived it was not available. We had to stay the first night in a twin room, but it wasn't a big deal. The room could be more cleaned behind the night tables or bed. And the bath curtain could be changed. Slow sink drain. Power cuts are a nuisance. The road in front of the hotel is not good. The temperature of the hot water in the bathroom was not stable. Breakfast can be improve further adding more western food. But lack of personality. One of the facility provided in listed letsbookhotel.com brochure was 'free airport transfers'. Though they picked us up from airport to hotel, they refuse to tranfer us from hotel to airport. When I spokem\n to the Manager on 10 Nov 2013 around 3pm, he told me that the hotel had changed their regulation that only tranfer from airport, and not to tranfer to airport, thogh I told him that it was listed in the hotel brochure when I did the booking. Finally, I had to take tok-tok there. Staff friendly, but rather incompetent and wifi in room non existent. Could have been better if transport to/from airport to hotel is in the package . Service at the restaurant during breakfast. Staff are lazy, no strict monitoring by manager. Lot of noise from air conditioner machines placed near windows. We tried 3 different rooms and the noise was impossible. Breakfast for picnic is very poor, without any drink. Road with a lot of dust.
