Sandanski is an excomunist city, meaning those ugly old building. But the view is great. The city is quiet and great for relaxation. Full of mediteranian trees, has a very nice smell. Quite hot in the summer. The hotel was easy to find. It is situated near kaufland market, in an area full of little houses. You can find an exchange office inside kaufland, open even on sunday. The adminstrators spoke only bulgarian, but they were full of good will. The rooms were big, we had an apartment, a bedr.
