the staff in restaurant are the smiling

the menu of the breakfast is the same every two days (eggs....) The staff didn`t speak english, The strenght of internet signal in the 4th floor

good value for money for Rio, pleasant light wood decor, good breakfasts, helpful staff, easy walk to Barra's more affordable restaurants, bars and beach.

a/c didn't work but wasn't needed at the time. Cigarette butts on balcony and garbage visable behind window in adjacent room. bathroom is tiny but functional.

Well located

No hair-dryer. No electric adaptor for foreign equipments. When I arrived, the television was out of order (it was mended afterwards).

The location of the hotel was perfect to my scope in Rio.

The bath was not clean in the shower, the walls were with mold.

The helpfullness and friendliness of the staff. Good pea soup (Sopa ervilha). Cold beer

Cramped room and bath room. Old linen. Not so good breakfast. Less than average meals. The hotel would have been a fair choice at a max of BR$ 200/day. It is over priced at the close to BR$400/day.
