Great hotel very helpful and friendly staff. Good location only a couple of blocks to the beach. Would return without fail if I was to visit again on Copocabana Beach. Great View of Christ The Redeemor from the rooftop pool which was clean and refreshing. Location - close to restaurants and shopping area, and just a few minutes walk to the Copacabana beach. Nice and spacious rooms. Terrace with a pool and great view of Cristo Redentor. The staff were helpful and service-minded.

Being close to Copacabana beach, although it is still 3 blocks away, you could find a better hotel closer. Location. Worst breakfast I had during my stay in Rio (and I stayed at 3 hotels, including this one). The bacon must have been a several weeks old. It almost seemed as if they "recycled" breakfast from several days ago. Luckily, in my last day they must have started a new cycle, as everything tasted nice and fresh (including the bacon) :). Wifi is unstable and have to login many times a day. We booked a tour to Buzios from the hotel and it was far the worst travel experience we've had. Horrible organization and we lost one day from out trip to Rio. I definitely won't recommend booking any tours from this hotel. Wifi was very slow. Pool needs renovation and some maintence items. Room overlooking on a noisy street a very loudy building site. Internet service was slow and disconnection happened quite often as higher as you were (my room was on 7th floor). The staff very helpful !!. We were assigned an old room which didn't have all the confort that we were paying. The breakfast was okay but below average in compare to other near by restaurants. old furniture. although in Copacabana not the best neighbourhood at night time poor and oldfashioned facilities, very low value for money, far overprized hotel rooms need complete refurbishment poor breakfast I will never return here and not advise to anybode. The wifi only works in the lobby, and doesn't always work. The hotel is expensive, I am sure there are better hotels for the same price in this area. I would only recommend staying here if you go to the beach everyday, but I still think you could find a better hotel. Some unfriendly staff. poor management, poor room for the prices.
