The location ! We arrived late at night a bit confused where we were, woke up to a delightful place. Only 1 night, super nice kind of ranch, mini resort. They even cooked for us when it was closed late at arrival, good prices too, great breakfast. We were blown away how close this was to the falls/ park entrance. Im not kidding its was about 10-15minutes walk along a nice scenic road, the falls were mind blowing ! Staff at the desk were very helpful and stored our luggage while we went out f.
all reviews » This place is an excellent choice for people on a budget. Located very close to the falls, it has all the comforts you could hope for after being on the road for a while. It is set on some lovely land and there are hammocks to relax everywhere. The staff make you feel at home and there is a lovely bar and swimming pool area. Drinks are cheap (self -service on trust basis) and so are the simple dinners (r10). The place has diy laundry facilities - very reasonably priced (not normal hotel prices). Right next to the Brazilian side of the falls and near a bus route to Argentinian side. Lovely hostel, very sociable. Had a great out door space with a lot of wildlife. Would never consider another place if I returned to Foz. The staff is great, the food has a great cost-benefit rate and the location is excellent: It is near the airport, the Cataratas are just beside it an it has a bus stop point really close that has lines which leads to town. It was the best accomodation during our vacation ( despite the fact that it was the cheapest). Great rooms, very clean, perfect location (very close to the falls and bird park),very friendly people. English speaking staff, relaxing territory of hostel - birds and animals of the forest live near the people. Airport - 7 minutes by taxi, entrance to the Iguasu park 7 minutes by walk. The setting in a forest, simplicity of a old brazilian farm house, wild monkeys eating from the fruit trees, closeness to Iguassu park (walking distance), off the beaten track. excellent staff, superb surroundings, eco friendly, great oppurtunities for nightlife (at site), in the middle of the nature, right next to Iguassu falls entrance. The staff is very nice, the nature view within the hostel is wonderful. Compare with other hostel, the facility there is quite nice and comfortable. The food, staff, and ambiance. good people on reception. the hostel is located at the entrance of the brazilian park. it's peaceful, relaxed and features a nice large garden. friendly but not very professional staff. it is a perfect base to visit the falls for one or two days. during the day it's less relaxed. nearby is a heliport for sightseeing flights over the falls... if you're out all day on the trail to the falls you will suffer little from it and it is a great hostel. The location is great if you come to see the falls, right near the entrance of the national park and the airport! You can ride 2 bus stations to/from the airport. It's in the middle of nature, we saw monkeys playing in the trees :). Great nature around. It would have been nice to only walk 1 minute to the falls and have the stay for free, ha just kidding ! Good place. The bathroom of the common bedroom was not as clean as it should be. There should be windows in them as well. Also, guest should be advised to keep the bathroom clean and leave their towels at the hanger outside the house. - Toilet inside the dorm - no iron. I always expect a locker in a dorm room but there were non. Music is sometimes a bit loud in the kitchen area. It was all good. This was our first stay at a hostel and we really enjoyed it. If you like to be pampared, probably not the right place though. hostel was perfect! Iguassu falls - we didn't like the fact that there was no cambio options and one could not pay the entrance to the Bird park with credit cards. dinner at the hostel is not the best. the dnner for 15R was prettu bad. bad smell in bathroom. breakfast is very basic. -Breakfast was kindof poor, compared to other places we stayed on our Brazil tour -the room was really big but just had a bed and a closet. We had all our baggage on the floor because there was no table/seating to place it. No mosquito net, no place to eat around, very small toilet, no hot water.
