What an amazing place ! I spent 4 nights at Villa Balthazar with my
girlfriend and that was definitely the high point of our trip to Brazil.
Felix & Petra (+Chloe) are amazing hosts, what a family! They were
always here to help, and know Buzios inside out, on top of being very
nice persons. The Villa is really detailed-oriented with tons of
interesting piece of furniture + nice deco. I'm not even mentioning
breakfast.. With home made bread and jam, fruits, juices, cakes, etc :)

One of the best places I have ever stayed, in no particular order:
- Warm, friendly and thoughtful service.
- The special little touches that make a big difference and will be remembered.
- The fantastic home made breakfast and drinks.
- The fact we felt like we were "at home".
- The location, easy parking and a short 5 minute walk from the heart of "Rua das Pedras".
- The beautiful decorations, high quality bed linens and toiletries
- Hosts that speak fluent English would be a big plus for non.
A cozy and stylish house, in a excellent location.You get 5 stars treatment.
It is run by the owners, who are very kind and do their best to make you feel good.
They were also very helpful to us with stuff we needed for our small son (2 and half y.o).
The house is fresh and newly renovated. All clean. Perfect bathrooms.

Villa Balthazar is an exceptional hotel; truly a beautiful spot to relax and enjoy Buzios and its beaches. Felix and Petra are absolutely phenomenal hosts and we couldn't have felt any more comfortable in their place. There isn't enough positive things we can stay about our stay; it was perfect. The pousada is very nice and well kept and the owners are very helpful. Breakfast is great too! Very important that the pousada is very close to Buzios where you can dine and do shopping. Also one of the beach is close.

If you have small children you have to be alert - easy access to pool
and a number of stairs.
If you have a small kid (1-4 years) you need to watch him closely to avoid he/she break or mess any fine ornament.
