What people say
Very clean, quiet and extremely relaxing. Canoes can be used for free. The hotel has his own little boat dock and you can swim in the river. Safety is not an issue.
A good breakfast was included in the rate and the hotel also serves a fantastic lunch and dinner for little money.
The owners are a swiss/brasilian couple. The speak good German, English, Portuguese and French. They were really helpful in organizing our trips at site/taxis/etc.

The owners Michael and Josiane were extremely hospitable and made our stay extra special. We were expected to arrive late in Barreirinhas but Michael and Josiane were gracious enough to offer us a ride from the airport since they were in Sao Luis for the day. Once we got to the place we instantly understood why this place was rated so highly. The food was cheap and delicious, the grounds were extremely well kept and the bungalows were very clean. The cooks even used fruit from their own tre.
Very welcoming, fantastic fresh seafood dishes and breakfast. Helped organise all trips and the room was spacious, clean and well equipped. If you want peace and tranquillity away from the main town - come to this place.
