In winter the Gerlitzen, Carinthia's largest ski area, is about a 25-minute drive away.

This BandB was fantastic. It has been newly remodeled and there was nothing about the hotel we did not like. The staff was amazingly helpful and fluent in English. The room was very nice with sat. TV. Breakfast was typical Austrian but with fresh bread and eggs. We liked the price for the rooms, the comfort for the rooms, the information we received during our stay. We liked the hotel staff and his kindness. During the New Year’s Eve we passed there, we paid only for the drinks, the meal – buffet - was free.
