It had everything we needed for our overnight stay, close to tje entrance main street 2 mins walk to the wests club,awsome food at the all you can eat reccomended by staff. The beaches where a quick drive and there was so many to choose from! :-). Friendly helpful staff, we didn't expect a kitchen at all. They are renovating the rooms at present and now include a small kitchen which was a bonus. Great location.

The ladies that run the hotel are very friendly and helpful, we have stayed there on a number of occasions and we keep going back. Just the right place for a brief stay. Had what you wanted. Location new shower. convinence store. The best thing I could say about The Reef Resort at The Entrance would be that it was clean. Nothing else. The facilities are dated and poor (tiles missing in bathroom), toilet cistern is stained) and a night at The Reef Resort is definately not worth $115. The only thing going for this motel is the pool. And even that was small. Central location for The Entrance but still not "in" town. Free parking, location and friendliness of the staff. The room was ok Could do with a little updating. proximity to services. location good. Close to cbd. Nuthing. Nothing to like. Easy to book. The price. leaving. nothing. The pool wasn't open early enough for us to have a dip before we left but owell next time!. There was nothing that we didn't like except leaving. Coffee cups and kettle were dirty. Could not find no 2 park which was my room number in the dark. the room are clean but beds arnt to comfy. Being so close to the road and the noise from passing cars. was dissppointed the spa was not functioning was one of the deciding factors for chosing this resort. also disappointed the were no onsite meals. Surrounding rooms full of loud and obnoxious people. Would not stay here again. Musty rooms. Bed not comfortable. cheap accomodation in need of TLC. Staff member was difficult and not sure if he knows what hospitality or customer service is. Room was run down, tea and coffee facilities - none. Shower leaked. Would never recommend this to anyone. Don't waste your money. A bit dated and the charge for a spa room in which the spa took a half hour to fill was a bit high. There are cockroaches everywhere in the room. Some attention to the cleaning of the rooms is required. Would not recommend to my family or friends. I worked as a house maid and no way your rooms would pass my inspection,you have the don't care attitude,there was old filth everywhere,the towels were the worst ,I wanted to vomit at the stench,sorry but it was horrible. surround not swept [cig buts leaves etcetera around front door and pool area ,room needed attension,poor lighting floor unclean ,though I had no trouble ,but friends found staff quite offputing. cleanliness not good could not walk on floor with no shoes,darkness of room very dull,very small room,towels smelt like wet dog could not use them ,. Road noise, Very basic motel, does not deserve the Resort part of the title. Had to jam a pillow between the old roll down blind and the bed to get privacy. Tv did not work. Water ran out from underneath the vanity when the tap was turned on. Anything on floor was saturated. Very basic and old. the shower leaked, the lights didn'T work, there was no soap, there was no tea or coffee, very budget!!!. The Motel is very old, old fashioned furnishings, dark rooms and rate about 2 Star, it is clean. Slowly being renovated and has a long way to go!. Staff attitude Mould in rooms No spa working Smoke from balconys coming in our room Beds were sponge not innerspring very uncomfortable. Lots if hidden costs such as BBQ, kitchen and laundry use , extra fee for everything. Will never return there!!!!!and not recommend either. The room was out dated Smelled weird Lights did not work Too olden day like Pathetic for money. the service was very poor very rude the towels stunk like damp clothes there was mix matched kitchen items (including two glasses for four people and no wine glasses at all ) the bunk beds mattress was very thin and unsleepable as the base poles stuck into a small 6 year old child and found it to uncomfortable . blankets in room very smelly . very loud road noise in room. no wifi,out dated,noise,and the smells,cockroaches,no locks on door.it an't no resort not worth the money.not cheap but nasty. worst place you can stay in I prefer pay extra to stay anywhere else bad service, not clean and on top of that very bad staff. Traffic Noise all night Windows covered with Perspex No ventilation Had to use shower to fill kettle & need to step in shower to fill. Lumpy Bed Cutlery & crockery was not enough for people in room. Uneven floor No fan in bathroom Fiddle antenna to get signal Lady made us wait to go & check room first to see if it was cleaned. No light on stairwell. Challenged us for payment when it was taken out 5 days prior. Had to show transaction on phone. Will not return back. I don't like everything...very upsad when i came.
