your staff were very helpful and friendly we found the few days we stayed great , I know you are doing renovations at the moment and if people can actually survive the shock of walking through the front door not from anything visual but just the noise I'm sure they would be more than happy with there stay especially as we did and closeness to Sydney domestic terminal. overall had a great stay. all reviews » I stayed here only one night but found the hotel quite satisfactory. It is close to the airport and van service - both to and from - was convenient and reliable. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Staff members were very friendly and very helpful. Once you got your nose pointed in the right direction it was an easy walk (with luggage) from Sydney's domestic terminal. They have a reasonably priced transfer system to/from both terminals. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The rooms were very comfortable & well appointed, especially the bathroom 'pod' arrangement - excellent shower. All reception staff were very helpful & the restaurant food was surprisingly 'gourmet style' & good. The efficient staff that I encountered at Reception & Dining area. The bedroom was well presented, clean with a very comfortable bed. I appreciated the modular built bathroom. Much thought had been spent in its design. Location was ideal.Mascot railway station just a 5 min walk(the airport terminals charge u extra) They have $ 2.50 rail+bus+ferry 24 hr pass for the family on Sundays!!! Clean,hassle free early morning check out. Friendly staff and helpful. However although we also stayed exactly one week before and had a tremendous meal where we sent our compliments to the chef. THIS TIME evening meals were tepid served on cold plates. My husband is disabled and the room provided was absolutely perfect. The bathroom was spacious and the sleeping area very comfortable. Food and service excellent. my husband and I used Ibis because it was close to the airport, we live a three hour hour drive from sydney and it enabled us to spend a relaxing night before picking relatives up from a early morning flight,. Close to the airport; convenient shuttle service for $6; great bed, linens; clean, quiet; didn't use any of the other facilities, but there was a gym and a great lounge, seating area on the main level. Everything you need was on hand perfect place for overnite airport transfer good food clean rooms courteous staff excellent menu and food in the restaurant I would definitely reccomend to my friends . The first half an hour of internet is free in the pubic area. comfortable bed, crisp sheets, separate sheet from doona so could use sheet only, ability to read in bed . re point 3, one of those words fit. I would use relaxation but not spa. The staff were very professional and friendly. The fettuccine meal was excellent and rounded off a excellent stay, I would not hesitate to recommend ibis to family and friends. The rooms wereTOO small as compared to ibis rooms in other cities.The space is simply not enough if you are travelling with kids.we fared ok as we were only doing a 2 day stopover. The breakfast was reasonably good but overpriced at $ 22 per head. As above cold meals. We liked everything. everything was good no complaints. All good. Nothing. Would strongly like a small microwave in the room, plus table knife, fork and spoon. Air conditioner was too loud and significantly disturbed getting a good nights sleep. TV remote control had labels worn off, so making it hard to use. TV was missing many free-to-air stations. Rooms were a little small. I would have prefered a softer matress but that is only due to a rib injury .I could not see anything to complain about. The sink drain of the restroom was clogged. The breakfast is too expensive (20 AUD). couldn't get room cool enough without opening window which was then too noisy. For me being on a few days break from melb, also being a housekeeping Supervisor in a nursing home we would not start any room cleaning at 7.30am way too early. For person trying to sleep in, and relaxing on there holiday, I think that 9.oo am is the start time at other hotels and nursing homes too. Friendly helpfull staff. I liked my stay. noisy busy road. Nothing on a one night stay. Nothing particularly, obviously near a road, but that's the penalty for being near the airport! Free Wifi would be good, although free wired access very useful. Sorry of the cabinets in the rooms need proper repair... Not just a dodgy patch up... Gluing a tray down on top of the cabinet does not fix it.... Even more noticeable when the tray hangs over the edge and you have to push it back so you don't bump it every time. Cramped toilet facilities. Dining room staff was friendly, but appeared perhaps a bit understaffed?. the bathroom was a bit small and I could hear my neighbours going in and out their door other than that great place to stay. All was OK. instructions for using swipe card to turn on lights busy check in area in restaurant. The bathroom is too small with limited spacing. A little noisy in hallway and between rooms. Nothing. Nothing. I think if hotels in Bali, and small cafes in Perth can offer free wifi I cannot understand why hotels in Sydney want to and need to charge?. Sound of running water during most of the night as room located below guest laundry.
