Our apartment provided optimum space and comfort with all amenities for a relaxing, private stay. Staff were responsive to any query and were keen to rectify any concerns with the apartment. The opportunity to advise management about anything that needed fixing by completing a simple feedback form will ensure that rooms are maintained in optimum condition. for each successive hirer. The location in South Yunderup in a rural lakeside setting proved to be the perfect getaway from 'big city' hust.
all reviews » We liked that there was a bathroom for each bedroom, great when sharing with another couple. We liked the apartment was modern, clean and comfortable with every item you could possibly need. We had taken our boat and found that there was a locked boat yard for storage. There was a boat ramp close by making boating access to the river and estuary easy. We spent a lovely morning crabbing and enjoyed them with wine on our apartment balcony for tea. The nearby Clansman Tavern was walking distan. We loved our stay at the Lakeside apartments. It is family friendly, it features a heated spa, pools, tennis courts and even has a family game room. The rooms are comfortable, well equipped and modern. The managers are approachable and friendly! We definitely recommend a lakeside view when available which overlooks the koi and ducks! Will stay here again without a hesitation!. The accommodation was excellent with the apartment being well stocked and very functional. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I had a 2nd store apartment overlooking the lake - beautiful way to greet the morning out on the balcony with breakfast watching the bird life in the lake. Highly recommended. value for money compared to much higher priced locations nearer to Perth. Easy access to Freeway and will be in Perth, Airport or Fremantle within an hour. Mandurah is just ~10mins drive. Fully equipped kitchen, with dishwasher, washing mc/dryer is especially convenient. The rooms were quite spacious and clean. We had a top floor unit looking out over the lake which was pleasant and provided a cool breeze at night. The unit was well appointed with appliances (but no hair dryer). Wld definately recommend it. The apartment is big and spacious. It is cozy with a verandah facing the lake. Quite clean and almost all our needs are taken care of. A lot of consideration to provide a comfortable stay for tired travellers. The fully contained apartments were great for our young family, the children loved the pool and we had a lovely bbq dinner, we will be coming back here, it was nice peaceful get away and the staff were lovely. There were two seperate bedrooms each with ensuite. Kitchen well equipped and dishwasher. Each room had A/C but only needed lounge heater on in evening. Lake was at our doorstop with lots of birdlife. The beautiful view (and friendly ducks!), and the cleanliness and comfort of the apartment. Everything was just perfect for our stay. tranquil, excellent premise and facilities. warm welcome by staff. near to Mandurah, one of nicest city other than Perth in WA. Very roomy, modern, clean lakefront 2 bed apartment. Absolute lake frontage with lots of birdlife & giant koi carp. I loved the view of the lake, sbsolutely beautiful. the apartments were really nicely set out and very clean. We had all the modern comforts of home and we're spoilt rotten with a dishwasher and a washing machine too. Lots for the kids to do. safe environment, lots of other families around. apartments are well cared for. As we had our young grandchildren it was a safe relaxing spot able to use the pool and see nature as well. great appt's with good appointments top notch bed. cleanliness. first class surroundings. the lake with the ducks, black swans and koi fishes... the accommodation was super too. Very relaxing and loved the friendly staff and your fish in the lake was the highlight. Close location to the river, ideal for boating Very obliging, friendly management. the location was away from busy Mandurah and close to Pinjarra. Because the lake frontage is an important feature the occupants of every room were out on their balconies until late which made an early night a bit of a challenge. Minor details: extra t-towels, paper towels for kitchen wipeups and hand wash in bathroom would have been convenient. Nothing!. nothing. So far away from everything to do with a holiday. Several kms drive to nearest supermarkets or restaurants/takeaways. spiders and webs all on the balcony and under the outside table and chairs. The layout of the bathroom cum toilet was shared between 2 rooms and once the shower is on the whole place gets wet!. could not find facilities listing in appt for quick reference. children using car park,pool and surrounds as playground after 9.00pm at night. can't put anything in here :-). If would have been nice to have Foxtel and free WiFi. Also late exit with no extra charge with more spa access in other apartments. This is not a criticism of the facility but would be a good bonus. Having to leave!. No indoor heated pool for wintertime. The club house operates only in office hours. We cannot utilize it in the evening hours. With an older teenager, it would have been better if the swimming pool and such were able to be used after dark. Couldnt fault it. Toilet paper too thin!!!! Parking bay No 13 too small with pole restrictions. No security fly screen on front door (need it for cross ventilation and insect barrier), need some more parking (we had 16 in the group and 4 car bays). Too many mosquitos, on the first night we had to kill ten.The next day we bought a can of spray. Perhaps a tin should be in the unit like other places we have stayed in. N/A. Room was not ready when arrived, still to be cleaned & linen done. Sauna was out of order yet didn't expect this. Had a death in the family unexpectedly and one of the 3 apartments we'd booked wasn't used because of the funeral arrangements which we only found out about the day prior and we couldn't get money back or cancel. I found remains of glasses under the sofa and evidence of mice into the sofa-bed...
