What people say
Everything; we cannot praise it enough. This delightful old house with
its lovely period furnishings is an absolute gem, as is its owner. Set
only five minutes walk away from the main street and the shoreline park,
Lorelie could not be more convenient and yet it is blissfully quiet at
night. Our host keeps a well-stocked fridge and offers carte blanche to
those who want a quick tea or coffee with biscuits and other nibbles. In
the evening, port and other comforts are left in the well-appointed

We liked just about everything about this B&B. When we arrived we
were able to move into our room directly, everything we needed was there
for us to read, the owner, Roger, was available all the time, the room
was wonderful, and the breakfast was very nice. Roger suggested a nice
restaurant to go to, and he even had a nice wine in the sitting room to
enjoy while I worked off of the free wifi. We just loved it there.
The host, Roger, was friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere of the Lorelei was just amazing, the homestead has been kept in the era of the building but with lovely spotlessly clean bathrooms, and comfortable beds. Roger's daughter gave us a quick lesson on some of the native birds in the garden. We would certainly stay with Roger again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation in that area.
What a place! The owner, Roger, was an extremely friendly host and
nothing seemed to be too much trouble.the delightful touch of
complementary cheese and port in the evening is a wonderful bonus. We
would have liked to have stayed for longer but we had to move on. We
would certainly recommend Lorelei to everyone. The continental breakfast
was excellent as well. Glynn & Barbara White (uk).
Absolutely gorgeous place. Rob is a fabulous host, so many nice touches
right down to complimentary wines, cheese, drinks, toiletries.
Everything is there in a beautiful old home with antique furniture. You
couldn't get such luxury for $145 and a spa room in Tasmania. I will
be returning for a few days later in the year for some r &R.
Very friendly casual atmosphere. Complimentary drinks and light snacks are a real winner. Breakfast was ample and fresh and tasty. Rooms were large and of interesting decor. Close to the township so restaurants and shops are close enough to walk to. Free wifi.
Such a warm, friendly host who made our stay such a memorable one. The home is beautiful and the facilities A1
We loved the gracious old world atmosphere and will certainly come again and recommend Lorralie to all our friends.

Roger the Host was so friendly, the lovely idea of having free cheese and wine in the evening, the comfy bed, the spa bath- in fact everything- we will be revisiting.
Lot of extra's made it great value plus willingness of owner to the extra mile, made it a memorable evening. Cheese, wine, comfortable lounge and free Internet.
a very cool B&B owned and run by a guy who cares. Great location, very spacious old house with awesome facilities. Stay here or get second best.

The koala walking along the footpath, outside the house ( yes, a koala).
The rambling garden.
The manager.

Most generous and friendly host who goes out of his way to make you comfortable. Wonderful period house.
The 'olde world' atmosphere but with all mod cons. The
complimentary drinks. The attention to detail.
The relaxed homely atmosphere and the little extras that were provided e.g. wine, beer and nibbles.
Owner is an exquisite person, rooms are very big, furnished with very good taste.
Very friendly owner and comfortable room with free wifi.
The rooms and facilities are excellent.
The fact that we were only able to stay one night!.
There was nothing to dislike!!.
Nothing. I did not want to leave.
Rather too many shrubs / trees in the garden, although this did not detract from the enjoyment of our stay.
Nothing....
nothing.
Leaving.
nothing, it was great.
Nothing that I can think of.
The outside area needs some attention.
