Damien and Tania were fantastic hosts, very informative, very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. The apartment was spacious, bright and well stocked and it was a delight having breakfast in the outdoor courtyard. The staff (owners) are extremely friendly and gently. Hotel facilities are very good and the place is nice, clean and quiet. Three minutes drive to town. Really enjoyed it. Perfect place for a small family.

Everything was fantastic. clean well situated apartments very helpful staff Staff tried very hard to accomodate the bed issue and help the situation, by turning the bed and supplying new pillows and organising a new dvd player. they refunded our money for the second night, as we were not confident that the changes would help our sleep. Nothing. The cooking knives in the apartment were rather blunt and made prepping food a bit of a chore. Swimming pool is a bit dated. Not a dislike, the pool was good, but it would not be my choice if I were to bring my young grandchildren of 2&4 years of age. Nothing. Nothing. The heat. The bed was not comfortable. Woke with extremely stiff back. dvd player was not working.

Port Douglas is located in Tropical North Queensland only a 50 minute drive north of Cairns. Positioned along one of Australias most scenic coastal routes and with a year round balmy tropical climate, Port Douglas is the Gateway to two of the world wonders, the World Heritage listed Great Barrier Reef and Daintree Rainforest.

Conveniently located in the heart of Port Douglas, A Tropical Nite is opposite the Sheraton Mirage Golf course and within walking distance of Four Mile Beach, Marina Mirage and Macrossan Street, home to Port Douglas' array of cafes, restaurants, bars, galleries and boutiques.

While visiting Port Douglas you can visit The Great Barrier Reef, Daintree Rainforest, Mossman Gorge, Cape Tribulation, Skyrail, Kuranda Rail and Kuranda Village. You can also do a Sunset Cruise, Fishing Tour, Helicopter Scenic Flight, Hot Air Baloon, Horseridding, visit The Habitat, Hartley's Crocodile Farm and this is just to mention a few things to do while your here.

Travelling information

From Cairns airport turn right and head North for aprox 60km following the Port Douglas or Mossman signs. Turn right into Port Douglas Road, go through 3 roundabouts and take the next left into Mahogany Street, first street on the right into Davidson and we are #119. aprox half way down the street.
