I stayed in the female dorm for one night, the room was clean and proper, the weekend manager was very helpful to make a call to airport shuttle for me. Bathroom was also nice and clean, the guests were a nice people. This hostel is located in the quite neighborhood which allows you to have a nice deep sleep. And it is just few minutes walk to the crowd in James St, also few minutes walk to the CAT bus station that can get you around Perth for free.
all reviews » I stayed in my own room with a queen bed. Very comfortable. No fridge in room but access to main fridges in share kitchen. The private rooms are a great compromise between having friendly international travellers around but not having to share a room if you like your privacy. Will be my first stop next time I stay in Perth. The staff were very accommodating. With the courtyard and living area it makes a great first stop for travellers. The homely feel allows you to makes friends easily! Loved it there. Great, knowledgeable staff. Very comfortable bunk beds in the dorm. And having less bunks in each dorm was nice as well. It was clean and well maintained. The noise level stopped at 10pm. Facilities were good. Security was good. Staff were very friendly and the double room we had was lovely and so clean. Very friendly staff, nice walk to the city, lovely surroundings. Brilliant hostel. Great location and staff. Tv room is great. Friendly hostel. spacious dorm room (room 3). Bathroom and TV room. everything OK. Gret location. The position of this hostel is not in the centre of Perth, it is in NorthBridge, so you need to walk for 20 minutes to reach the centre and in the night for a girl is not so good!. Price is not cheap bit cheaper hotel in perth. Central location. Nice house, clean rooms. Internet service is a bit pricy, I prefer to have a breakfast at Opal cafe near the hostel and get a free wifi access :))). I didn't get to stay longer. No cutlery/dishes in the kitchen was a bit of a pain!. Room very small with no-where to put any stuff except on the floor - however, this is being rectified with some shelves being installed, which should help. Door handle really dodgy and hard to open. The kitchen was often very messy with lots of pots everywhere. Nothing it was fine. Position. yelling young irish couple next door. They returned from party 3 am and slammed the doors and yelled at each other. I booked/requested 'FEMALE' only dorm and was given mixed. On the second night, a guy from bunk above me (I'm in 3A), climbed down in the middle of night and started Urinate over the corner.....!!!!!!, and right thru the night, he was up and down, in and out.... anything else you wanna me to comment on? and yes the kitchen is NOT open for early travellers at 7 am....... long walk to nearest bus stop. 2pm check in is too late, shd make it 12pm or earlier. People were not considerate at all and smashed the doors all night couldnt sleep ar all worst experience ever... For a basic room with no attached toilet, rather expensive. I stayed at your facility as it was listed as a hotel on last minute. On arrival, found it was a hostel. I didnt get any sleep due to roudy partiers. Would have got a better sleep at the airport. -Really unwelcoming staff -If you wanted to use cups, plates ect you had to pay rent for them Would not come there again because of the staff's negative attitude.
