Loved the bed, is divinely comfortable. Bathroom is big and shower is fantastic for pressure and heat with the option of a luxurious soak in the bath. Location, location, location! Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was very clean. Kitchenette is useful. Toiletries were nice and plentiful. TV was large and rotated and the little lounge is in a good position. The service was excellent, the location was top choice. there was everything we needed in the studio. The studio was specious and large compared to other studios we stayed. There was a supermarket across the road open until 22 h. we will always stay at Mantra.
all reviews » As always the Mantra on Murray didn't disappoint. Excellent location for access to the city, great bars, shopping, Perth Arena etc. Superb staff and fantastic room. 2 thumbs up!!. The location is great...right across from a pub and shops like Coles...bars and clubs. The room is comfortable and fully accessible. (I am in a wheelchair). The bathroom is huge. Location Friendly and helpful staff including domestic staff. Dinner in restaurant both nights of stay was very nice. Beds more comfortable than most. Bath gel was beautiful. Loved how close you guys where to everything, all our requests were met eg: Interconnecting rooms thankyou sooo much, our night there was awesome loved it..... The location was perfect for going to the Perth Arena. Had a beautiful meal in the restaurant. Clean & spacious. The staff were very helpful and friendly and made us feel welcome from the time we stepped in the door. Staff were outstanding always friendly and very helpful. Rooms are lovely and great central location. Clean, comfortable, quiet and suited our purpose. An excellent inner city option for a quick stay. I will definitely recommend Mantra on Murray to families and friends visiting Perth. Proximity to city center and rail station.Spacious apartment,competitive pricing. Those keys are a bit frustrating as they don't work frequently and needed replacing daily and we had to come back and forth sometimes more than once daily. Sometimes the lift got stuck. It was easily remedied by helpful staff. Where we had to park our car, next time we will drop our luggage off 1st, then park. This air conditioning was a little less than optimal. No free water in the rooms. Seems a bit mean and for the unwary who may(as we did previously) experience an unpleasant surprise at checkout to discover a bill of upwards of $6 for what looks like free water. Airconditioner was so noisy it kept us awake all night. It shuddered and the window rattled when compressor went on. Staff didn't appear too concerned when told of problem. Did not offer apology. There wasnt anything that I didnt like... the person that checked us in and out. a 30 to 35 year old balding man with glasses. he was extremley rude on both occasions. he didnt ask how our stay was and when we asked questions about breakfast being included he was plain rude about it not being. i travel a lot and have never been spoken to like that in my experiance , it nearly ruined the occasion of my 31st birthday that my wife orginised..she was distraught. Door keys didn't work Very expensive No internet or meals included in price. Breakfast was average (cold) Bed was uncomfortable coffee was not nice. The air conditioning unit was making weird noises all night which kept us awake. nothing. Not overly luxurious for 4 star. Nothing. Prices in Perth for accommodation are ridiculous if work wasn't paying I'm not sure id come for a holiday. Comfort rating of poor, mainly due to the terrible air conditioning. Room was hot, and difficult to sleep as a result. Corridor to our room was even worse the heat was ridiculous. We had a room on murray st on 4th floor and it was pretty noisy with pub across the road til early morning. moved from 1 damp smelly room to a second damp smelly room. The air condition in the hotel is not good,. Staff too busy. Waited 10 mins on phone to speak to reception, that was before we arrived. Incorrectly advised about the parking facilities which cost us over $40 for one night! Never advised about Mantra's facilities or breakfast option. Filthy room on arrival. $200 bond on arrival.
