Fantastic staff who were so helpful when I couldn't get the computer to work. They cheerfully helped me to print out my airline bookings. Nothing was too much trouble. Also very good value for money. All we needed was a bed near the airport for an early start the next morning. I liked the proximity to Perth Airport as this was the purpose for our stay. We were happy that McDonalds was close by for food too. We found the bed & facilities were fine, clean & comfortable. The staff were very helpful by lending us scales to weigh luggage, too.
all reviews » 5 minutes drive from Perth airport, great when you've got an early flight. Also noticed a bus right outside which goes into Perth city centre. Staff great, parking easy, room small but clean and bed comfy. No restaurant but fast food and budget meals close by. Availability, location and fair price for a comfortable room. This is exactly what travellers going through need and don't want all the frills of the more expensive establishments when all they need is a room and bed for the night. Have stayed a couple of times and have found the room appropriate for my needs and the staff are excellent always pleasant and willing to assist, they are the main reason I will always stay at the hotel. It was home away from home, really felt relaxed even though it was one day, we would definitely book again and recommend this place to all our family & friends. With an early morning flight to catch all that was required was a clean room with a comfy bed and decent shower. So the no frills for a modest tariff was adequate. Room was very clean & excellent position near the airport as we had to be at the airport by 4.30am. Excellent off street parking as we had a hire car. the location ( ease of access and close to the airport, food and petrol), the ample free parking, access to Wi-Fi, safe and secure. Perfect location close to airport and city centre. Simple but clean and efficiently comfortable room. Excellent value for money. Near to airport if you just need to sleep over until your next flight. There is no elevator so bare this in mind if you have a lot of luggage. I asked for a twin after initially allocated a double. This is a bunk bed above the double. Had to make up bunk. I'm not sure if this is usual? Complimentary tea/coffee in lobby available only later in the day. Coin operated drink dispenser wasn't that great. Clock in the room didn't work. Would like to see tea & coffee making facilities in the room. Over priced!. Can't think of anything. Banging our heads on the overhead bunk. Lack of hanging / luggage space. No tea and coffee facilities in the room. No lift. No plug in sink, shower rose not good (water sprayed everywhere),. The noisy drip from the airconditioned. No tea/coffee facilities in room. No floor mats in bathroom - water on floor near toilet after showering. Food/drink machine supplies a bit pricey. Breakfast doesn't start until 7am. No lift. Nothing!. The Price,could be a bit cheaper . one chair only in room for two people. Noise after midnight. No fridge in the room and the colour of the building. a little musty when we first arrived. Toilet ran on, light switch upside down, no jug anywhere to boil water. The air con unit was so noisy. Carrying bags up stairs after a long trip. Lucky it was only to the second floor. The air conditioner made stupid noises at early hours in the morning like it was chipping ice. No basic amenities in room - ie tea/coffee or bar fridge. These wouldn't cost much but add a lot of value for travellers.Breaking my nose on the bunk bed over the double returning from a 2am visit to the toilet. Pokey, but we were aware of that at time of booking. It was extremely tight - no room to swing a cat! You certainly wouldn't want to spend time in the room. Given that it was close to the airport, we were surprised at the cost of the taxi, especially to the international airport ($25). Could not make a cuppa in the room. Very budget, think shower and bed. The shower is very small and towels tend to get wet with nowhere to dry them. The cost is more than I would expect as it is very basic accommodation. Tea and coffee facility in room would be good. I thought rate was high for comparable to other places I had stayed (comparable size etc). Facilities: A shower mat would be good. Prevent water from seeping to carpeted floor through gap under door. You don't get even a kettle or coffee. I live in the most expensive city in the world (Sydney) and for the money I paid to IBIS, I was expecting at least, coffee, sugar and a place to put your stuff. You just get the bed and a TV… thank you very much. Luckily, I've got towels. It is completely without charm or character. It's a rest stop for interstate FIFO miners, not the Ritz. It's expensive for what it is, but hey, that's Perth. You won't find cheaper unless you want to sleep in the same room as 7 Italian backpackers who haven't showered in days. Not enough blankets, pillows were far too thin,no fridge, no phone ( even "user pay" in your room) no microwave, no drawers/cupboards. Very "BUDGET" room. Never seen such a sparse motel room.Not in Victoria anyway.
