My partner and I stayed in one of the ocean-view 1 bedroom villas. The view was spectacular and we were only 10 steps away from the actual beach. Nestled close to the Dolphin Quay Mandurah Ocean Marina, where there's shopping and cafes. The benefits of being a self-contained apartment, we made use of the full kitchen and also the washing machine and dryer. There is ample free parking within the hotel and also public parking close by. We didnt get to use the heated pool, but it looked very invit.
all reviews » The view - I'm always dubious that an advert for 'ocean view' will be that but it was on this occasion. Setting out of the apartment was very well done. Although we had to wait till about 2.25 to check in reception guy was polite & gave us a bottle of wine & late check out to compensate. Need to go in summer if prices right. I liked that it was on the beach front and was relaxing for some much needed time away from everything. I loved waking up to the sound if the waves crashing and sitting on the balcony for early morning coffee. Also great location with cafes and restaurants and shops within walking distance. Id definately come back again. Fantastic view from beachfront apartment,spacious and well equipped room with very comfortable bed, big and lovely looking pool area with barbecue and spa, friendly and helpful staff!. We were allowed to check out at 10am but were still given access to the pool and tennis courts after check out time. we really appreciated this. Lovely inlet, and pool overlooking the seaside. Very relaxing. Great for families, with a very lay back feel. Very accommodating with young baby. This is the second time I have stayed at Seashells and I absolutely love it. Well set up kitchen and laundry. We would have liked some verbal direction to facilities/car park/appartment asside from just being given a pamphlet with the layout with no explanation from the girl who checked us in. When we tried asking she misunderstood and gave us a rundown of what attractions there are around town. The fact that there was no resturant. Nothing. no dvd player in room internet connection cost. - I really enjoyed it all except the pillows were a bit too high and hurt my neck. I was in a down stairs villa I had just gone to bed, at 10.30 and I heard every word that the lady talking on her mobile phone was saying in the above villa. This went on for 20 min. Strange loud buzzing noise coming from the 5th floor hallway is very annoying at night. No room service gym or sauna :(. not having the option for room service, that was probably the only let down not having a restaurant or any room service. I would have stayed longer if it were to be cheaper. WiFi and internet too expensive. Airconditioner did not work. Was replaced by an electric heater. Dishwasher did not work....when checking out the cost of the internet were deducted as compensation, which I appreciated. They need to supply extra blankets in the rooms and maybe pool towels. no air con in master bedroom. No undercover outside. So when it rained we could not sit outside. The local amenities a lot more now than a few years ago. the dishwasher wasn't working. the girl who checked us in was not very pleasant. We are 2 women - there was a man behind us and she loudly said our room number when she gave us our key..... we both felt very incomfortable at that point. As a point of security - that should NEVER happen. the early checkout. Being so public when in the pool. Not enough pantry space only one bathroom. Microwave oven above the fridge is far too high to be used safely. The fridge is fully enclosed in a cupboard with no ventilation. This could lead to inefficient operation and short lifetime. nothing. Hot water service - temperature and pressure unacceptable. Advertised "full kitchen", but only 2 hotplates and oven was very small and impossible to operate without instructions - which we had to get from reception after some hassle. Television channel is limited. Nothing. Needs a inhouse restaurant/ cafe so then is no need to leave the hotel. That reception closes at 6pm. Also, we would have loved to be able to have room service but restaurants were close by. The fact that our room card did not work on 3 separate occasions and we had to call the night staff to let us into our room. He was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Also we were disappointed we were not able to have a later checkout especially in view of the problems we had getting into our room. the cost. Tv remote was restricted couldn't use our usb hard drive paid over $70 just for movies. The kitchen rubbish bin was full and smelly and there was only one coffee sachet. We had to phone after hrs maintenance guy to come & change our bedding because the bed had hair all over the sheets as though they hadn't been changed. They blamed their laundry service....... Also we couldn't book a movie because the tv wouldn't accept our villa number.

As our Resort offers fully self-contained apartments, there are no food & beverage outlets on site. Our reception staff will be happy to advise you of the local restaurants and shopping options available, many of which are just a short stroll from the Resort.

Our apartments are equipped with a kitchen as well as their own laundry facilities, our rooms are not serviced daily. A mid-stay service is arranged for guests staying for 6 days or more. An initial supply of amenities such as soap, shampoo, toilet paper, tea and coffee is provided on arrival.

While the apartments' set up includes all pots and pans, crockery, cutlery, glassware, linen and towels, we do recommend that guests may want to bring their own Pool and Beach Towels.
