I liked that the room looked exactly like the picture - it was clean, beds made nicely, room was modern and had a fresh feel. The breakfast was great, had a wide selection of food and the dining area was nicely furnished. Overall the hotel seemed modern, friendly and inviting, and I would definitely return. Always enjoy staying at the Mercure it is modern, clean and tidy and the staff are always friendly. We can park the car and walk through to the Catholic Club which means we can have a drink or two and enjoy the surroundings. A great place to relax and enjoy the atmosphere.

If you need a Hotel in this area then choose this one - you won't be disappointed. One of the friendliest Hotels we have ever stayed in. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Room is extremely clean and tidy. Great restaurant. Access to gym is important. I enjoyed my stay twice already and will be back again. Thanks, it was great. Very comfortable and quiet accommodation, adjoining a Catholic Club which provided great choice of meals and entertainment on some days of the week. The bed was amazing! After a long day/night attending a wedding we were more than happy with the level of comfort and great sleep we had. Very friendly helpful staff. The key to activate the lift was a bit fiddly and we couldnt easily access other floors where our friends were staying. no enough sings and directions toward the hotel , got the direction via Catholic club. I was not told when booking I would be required to leave a $50 deposit. N/A. Nothing, everything was good. A little "out of the way". Hotel could have suggested one of us joining the club and accessing meal discounts. Big jump in price from when we were last visited in mid July 2013. European style bedding. Liverpool is a long way from the city centre. It probably is only suitable if one is visiting liverpool or the immediate area. the room sevice food prices. Constant noise all night of running water. Disappointed that money has been deducted twice from my credit card and it was raised with the hotel on Friday 8/2 and money is yet to be refunded. Scratchy sheets.
